"The coffee this company provides is extremely below standards. I ordered two roasts, a medium kenya and the KTE espresso blend - both whole bean. The Kenya was god awful, truly a sin what these guys did to these beans. I mean the medium roast I ordered was actually a French roast or even beyond. I’ve never seen coffee beans this burnt before. The same can be said for the espresso blend. The taste of the two were inseparable from one another. Both had a bitter, charred, and tarry taste without real coffee flavor. It’s almost as if this roaster has no idea how to roast coffee so they make everything a dark roast and hope that they stay in business. I should’ve looked at the reviews before I spent my hard earned money on their coffee. I had extremely high hopes for these guys and that is why I ended up buying two pounds. Now I am stuck with two pounds of coffee that I can’t drink because it is so terrible. What a waste of $37. Please look elsewhere for a roaster who knows what they are doing. And to whoever runs this companies google account, what are you doing leaving snarky comments on customers reviews? Have you no idea how to run a business? I am not going to pretend as if I have any idea how to do your job, but as a potential customer, you look awfully unprofessional engaging customers in the way you have been. I’ve provided a picture of my “medium roast” Kenya as well as the espresso blend. The Kenya is in the container and the espresso blend is in the bag they provide."
