What People Are Saying

"I want to start by saying this is not meant to be a negative or rude review. I am sharing my honest experience in hopes it is taken constructively. The good: The drinks were solid. I really enjoyed the mimosas, especially the brown sugar one, which was absolutely delicious and something I would recommend. Overall, the drinks were a highlight for us. I will say that for the price, the pour felt a bit small, which was disappointing. I ordered two entrées. One was the steak omelette and the other was the eggnog French toast. The eggnog French toast was absolutely amazing and easily one of the best parts of the meal. Our server was very nice and attentive, which I do want to acknowledge. The not so great: We were seated at the end of the restaurant near a set of double doors facing outside. Throughout our entire visit of about an hour and a half, there was a strong odor coming from that area. It smelled like either trash, sewer, or dishes that needed to be washed. My husband guessed it may have been coming from outside trash cans, but regardless of the source, the smell never went away and did affect the dining experience. Unfortunately, my main issue was with the steak omelette. I immediately noticed a very strong and off putting odor. I only took one bite and could not continue eating it. I was told the cheese used was Gruyere. While I understand it can have a distinct smell, this was far stronger than anything I have experienced, especially having recently used Gruyere at home. The smell was overpowering and made the dish inedible for me, so I did send it back. I would have appreciated not being charged for that omelette, as I truly did not eat it beyond one bite and was clearly dissatisfied. One additional note, and I realize this may be picky. The server was wearing a sweatshirt that had visible grease splatter and debris, likely from the kitchen. While I understand things happen during service, it felt a bit off putting for an upscale setting. That said, the server themselves was very kind and professional. Overall, I would not say this is a terrible place. The drinks and French toast were enjoyable, but between the lingering odor in the seating area, the issue with the omelette, and the presentation details, the experience fell short for me. I am giving this a three star rating based on that balance."

"We had a wonderful experience in brunch at Cille and Scoe this past Sunday. The food was excellent! Hats off to Sarah for her wonderful hospitality and attention to detail. Her recommendations were on point. Appreciated the farm to table concept and commitment to this was more than a tagline. We had a few of the fall drinks and all were pleased. I had the chicken biscuit and teamed with the fig butter and apple butter, I was all in. Omelets, potatoes and cornbread appetizers were savory!!"

"We had the opportunity to have dinner here over the weekend, and O.M.G!!! I have not had food this good in a LONG time. The food here is truly farm to table. Everything is locally sourced and it absolutely shows. The food was fresh, the colors popped, and the food was so flavorful. I got the shrimp and grits and my sister got the Pumkinoli. The shrimp and grits was a new spin on an old favorite. The grits were fried into patties and soaked up all the yummy sauce so well. The Pumkinoli was absolutely delicious. They also make their own soda using a recipe from the 1800's!!! And it was also amazing! Not one thing here was not well thought out, prepared beautifully, and absolutely amazing. AND, their menu changes with the seasons so they can ensure it tracks with the local harvest! I was impressed with the thought that went into the meals here, and can't wait to come back. **Also! The wait can be a little longer than normal because every single dish is made fresh. We were told that up front, and the wait was well worth it!"

"I had the Duck Risotto from their fall menu for dinner. I never had duck before, it absolutely blew my mind it was astoundingly good!! Just had the Hen and Bread for brunch, the waffle was so tasty, the chicken cooked perfectly with wonderful taste, and some side collard greens to round it off. A comforting brunch I needed! Everytime I come here I'm welcomed so graciously and have wonderful service. I can't say enough good things about 'Cille and 'Scoe, I highly recommend 🙌🏿🫶🏿🙏🏿"
