from Google & Yelp"Truly love this coffee shop! It’s perfect for a date or getting school work done. The staff is always sweet and attentive. My favorite drink is the Marlon Brando. I adore the iconic names they give their drinks. You can really tell the owners put effort and heart into this place. Definitely give it a try!"
"I had a hot latte, it’s called the “Robert Downey Jr” (dark chocolate, caramel, sea salt) SO SATISFYING! 😋☕️🥰 I also enjoyed a delicious lemon & poppyseed muffin with my coffee, as I watched and listened to a gentleman who was singing and playing his guitar on the small stage that they have in the corner. He was very good and had a comforting voice that was the cherry on top of my experience. When I was finish with my coffee/muffin I picked around towards the back where they have an arcade, nothing fancy but it felt nostalgic. They had all my favorite arcade games I played growing up (skeeball, air hockey, Deer Hunt, claw machine, foosball, Pac-Man, and my absolute favorite the quarter drop machine (where you put quarters in through the top where they drop down to try and push other quarters off the ledge and down the shoot for you to claim). That DEFINITELY brought back memories, especially of my grandfather who I could always count on for quarters so I could play. They also had a pool table and a piano which I thought was really neat"
"Common Grounds coffee house offers an atmosphere of sheer genuine kindness and acceptance. As a musician up and coming in this terrifying digital transhimanism world Common Grounds coffee house offers the perfect place to get your nerves under control whilst enjoying a damn good Mocha for me. The talent there is in excess and the good vibes over flow the second you enter this establishment. Stop on by Common Grounds coffee house and see where the experience takes. You might end up on stage meeting really cool people all whilst conquering your fears and sipping a banging cup of Joe!"
"Today a young lady with long black hair walked in for her shift and told my handicapped grandfather, who was wearing an obvious knee brace, that he would need to move his car out of the parking spot he was in because she needed to preserve handicapped access to the shop. She said this to a handicapped man, who parked in an area that is available for parking in order that he, a handicapped man, could access the shop. She didn't suggest that he move his car within said spot to widen the entry area a bit, which could easily have been done. She told him (wrongly) that it wasn't a parking spot at all, and that he would need to park on the side street, or perhaps move illegally into a parking spot reserved for one of the other two businesses. To a man in his seventies wearing a knee brace. My grandmother decided to leave early, and I got the most canned, blank-eyed insincere "I'm just following policy" response when I told the barista how put-off her ableist nonsense had left both of us. "I'm sorry if you were offended" is genuinely one of the most insulting platitudes in the English language. I've been going here on a near-weekly basis with my grandparents for years now. That might be about to change, we'll see how I feel next Wednesday. It's a fantastic coffee shop with what I thought until today was a uniformly excellent and community-minded group of employees."
"Common Grounds is a cool, divey place where you can relax and play some games. The decorum is definitely on the more rustic/vintage side. They have some retro coin slot arcade games (coins not included), a pool table, an old piano, and a chess board. There’s many things you can do here to unwind! There’s also very comfortable couch seating where you can sit, relax and study/work. Along with their coffee selections, they also have a small beer selection as well. Sometimes people like to smoke outside and that smell can travel inside a little."
