What People Are Saying
from Google"In 9+ years of working in the specialty coffee industry and visiting shops across the country, I've never met anyone who takes quite as much pride in their work and their product as the lovely folks at Vignette! The other day when I went to purchase two bags of single-origin Ethiopia (including one honey processed, which is super unique), the owner chatted with me about the farms the coffee came from and explained in passionate detail EXACTLY how he thought it was best brewed. I followed his instructions as accurately as I could remember, and made the best pour over I've ever had at home. Every time I've been in, the owners have been super friendly. Their enthusiasm for what they do is infectious, and the love that they put into their brews is SO clear, even on busy Saturday mornings when they have a line out the door. Vignette is my favorite place for coffee in the Triad, and it is COMPLETELY worth the wait."
"I never thought I would be a black coffee drinker, but Michael and Mandy have officially converted me! I decided to try a pour over one day, instead of my usual mocha. The lack of bitterness and depth of flavor was transformative. They have a gift for sourcing quality beans, and showcasing what makes each region and grower unique. There can be a line out the door, but they will make you feel like you are their only customer, with their warmth and attentiveness. A long line is not uncommon, but it usually fosters community and conversation. I consider it a privilege to support this small business. Do yourself a favor and check’em out!"
"I had never heard of this place until I happened to pass by and looked it up. I was surprised to arrive to a line of customers coming out the door, apparently the line is usually much longer! I decided to see if it was worth the wait and I have to say it depends. If you’re really into coffee it is but if you’re looking for something sweet and don’t care about quality then maybe not worth a 30+min wait. The staff was very cheerful and nice which I appreciate. I was very impressed that all the flavors/syrups are made in house and I think the milk is homeland creamery. I got a vanilla latte, made with real vanilla bean and bought some coffee beans as well. Loved the latte and this morning I used the beans at home and was very impressed on how good my homemade latte tasted even without the awesome homemade syrups that Vignette has. Will be back again to buy more coffee beans and try something new off the menu :)"
"They always have a line out the door but it's absolutely worth the wait. Their seasonal coffee flavors are wonderful. Perfect flavor combinations. Their coffee beans are a whole other story. I'm a coffee snob and I've been to many small coffee shops across the US. Their beans are phenomenal. I've made the best lattes at home since I bought them. This place is a diamond in the ruff if you love good coffee"
"Vignette Coffee Roasters is everything a local coffee shop should be: welcoming, creative, and deeply community conscious. You can feel the care and craftsmanship in every detail, from the friendly staff to the thoughtful menu. I tried the Banana Matcha and it was absolutely amazing. We also buy their roasted blends for home, and I can say with complete confidence that Vignette is the best roaster and coffee shop in town. It’s a space that celebrates quality, creativity, and connection every single time you visit."
