"Coastal Fog is completely unexpected. It's a mix of cafe, wine bar, regular bar, bakery, sweet treat stop, gourmet deli, high-end gift shop & perfect place to while away a couple of hours. Highlights: The decor is fabulous. The selection of gifts, art, toiletries and furniture is expertly curated. The bird cages in the back are delightful. The kids play area is genius. Room for improvement: I've had three meals here and so far all items have been average with one experience absolutely sub-par. (Avoid the in-house baguettes if they still offer them). The price point is a touch high but the atmosphere makes it worth it. This is a great place to bring family from out of town."

"We hosted my mother’s surprise 60th in the gallery room and had a wonderful experience. Amanda was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and was easy to coordinate with. She made great food and beverage suggestions that allowed us to make the most of our budget. We had more than enough food (all of which was delicious) and didn’t have to do any work ourselves regarding the venue/set up. Our guests loved the atmosphere of the private room as well as the ability to explore the rest of the market, grab a coffee from the cafe, etc. Amanda and the rest of the coastal fog team were very accommodating and we would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to host an event there."

"Simply breathtaking as soon as you walk through the front door! The decor is stunning, everywhere you turn, there’s something to see without it be cluttered. Lunch was amazing - I got the ferrier with ham. It was warm & definitely makes you do a happy dance at first bite with the tantalizing flavors dancing on your taste buds! The parking lot was packed but when walking in, there’s enough room for everyone that there was no crowd to be seen. Some were reading, studying or just socializing. (Love that they incorporated a spot for the kiddos to play & even have a kids menu. Only suggestion would be to have a family restroom to change the kiddos. (I noticed this when a mom entered the restroom & no where to assist the kiddo.)"

"What an inspirational, gracious environment. The food is superior quality, and the menu is creatively put together. The drinks and desserts are also delectable. The decor and vibe are calming, relaxing, and peaceful. They also sell high-quality and interesting home decor and homeware. It really is inspirational to walk through this graceful, well designed shop. I saw that they often host a variety of workshops, which I would have loved to attend if we lived closer. The spacious venue is well designed. They also have a non-intrusive children's area, making families feel welcome and at home. This place has stolen my heart and has become my favorite place in North Carolina. Will definitely recommend this to anyone heading out that way. And will make a point of stopping by each time we visit the town."
