What People Are Saying
from Google"What a hidden gem! Once you enter the property you see plenty of free parking spaces. Stroller accessible entrance is on the left when you enter from the playground side. Inside you will find modern and aesthetic seating options for working remote or hanging out with the kids. They have a little kids area with drawing materials and a little library as well. Menu selection is just right - coffee favorites and a seasonal menu. If you order a drink - your child gets one for free! My baby loved the babycchino. It was delicious! They also offer a small selection of muffins, cakes and cookies. On the left side of the building you will find a playground with some benches and one picnic table with an umbrella. The playground is in full sun so watch out - it will get hot! It was very clean and perfect for my little one since it’s all fenced in and rubber-ish ground. We will definitely come back, loved this place!"
"Came for coffee and the enclosed playground. Coffee was very good. Adult drink came with a free kids cup of milk. Playground is around the left side behind the church. To come into the coffee shop with a stroller, enter on the left side through the double glass doors where the ramp is. Playground is completely enclosed with two benches, and one picnic table with an umbrella. It has turf grass and rubber mulch. Great playground. The kids had lots of fun! They even have a little smaller toddler playground."
"This is becoming a favorite coffee spot, whether it's for an outing with my little ones or for a quiet spot to work. Each staff person who has been there when I've come has been so friendly and happy to answer questions to guide my coffee choice. An Americano with the orange blossom syrup is my favorite drink so far. The scent of orange wafting off the cup was just delightful and tasted like a kiss of sweet sunshine! Moms - The playground on the side of the church is available for kids to play. Just brought my toddler this time with a picnic lunch. I got to enjoy quality coffee and he got to explore a new spot! I will note that the playground was in full sun around noon in March. So it might get too hot for playing in peak sun hours in the summer. But it looks like it would be shaded again in later afternoon. There are a couple benches and one picnic table with an umbrella. Last note, you can always go in the main church entrance, which has an ADA (and stroller friendly) ramp. That wasn't clear to me the first time I came and only saw Verb signage at the side door. Parking at the main doors also puts you closer to the ramp and the playground. Hope you enjoy this sweet spot!"
"Super friendly, and has a new fenced in playground! Inside is quiet and a perfect place to meet with a friend of get some work done. Outside is the perfect place to bring the kids to run around while you enjoy a coffee! Coffee is a 10/10!"
"I’ve had the pleasure to visit Verb Coffee twice, thanks to someone who posted about it in the local Harrisburg FB group. Verb Coffee is attached to the Burg Church with two entrances, one immediately after turning into the lot and one to the rear. The decor is more of a minimalist design; however, it’s very clean and crisp. On my first visit, I ordered an Earl Grey Loaf and a Maple Butter Oatmilk Latte, both were delicious; therefore I visited again today and ordered the exact same thing. Staff has been very friendly and welcoming. It’s a calm and soothing vibe upon entering- I’m not sure if it’s the spiritual aspect of it being connected to a church, the biblical message that greets you once you enter or a combination of it all. This little quiet spot is definitely worth the visit. Check them out!"
