from Google & Yelp"About seven months ago, I left a negative review after a bad experience. I kept coming back quietly, and I’m so glad I did. This place has become one of my favorite spots. It really goes to show that one negative experience shouldn’t define your entire perspective of a person or a place. This coffee shop feels so homey, the coffee always hits, and it’s my go-to spot for studying or a quick coffee date with my husband. I’m grateful to live so close. Hands down the best place for a snow-day coffee. Thanks, guys. ☕️"
"I was so excited to come here finally, as I like to support local and not chains / corporations, and I will continue to visit with some adjustments. First, I am a big coffee drinker, former longtime barista, and a bit of a fiend- so take that as you will. I walked in, wasn’t greeted at all, as the two staff members continued to have a conversation while totally ignoring me for several minutes. They weren’t preparing anything or missed me coming in- just straight ignoring me until I finally spoke up because- awkward! I ordered a large latte and asked how many shots it came with- only 2! This is the first locally owned coffee shop I’ve encountered that only includes 2 shots with a large latte- everyone else is 3-4. I added an extra shot but honestly I’m not sure if they remembered to add it because I was given essentially a cup of over steamed milk. This explains the lower prices everyone talks about, but everywhere else you get more for less than I paid for sure. If you don’t like espresso, this is perfect for you! I usually go for a quad espresso but my total was already $8 for 3 shots total. I wasn’t happy with my drink and didn’t finish it, but I enjoyed the seating and vibes so much that I’ll definitely be back and will try a cortado, brewed coffee, or a tea instead. I’ve heard great things about this place so I will keep coming back, just not for my usual order at other coffee shops. I think the barista also may need more training honestly because my milk was split, boilinggg hot, and watery- shame because they use homeland creamery which is awesome of them. I will update my review next time I go in and still totally recommend!"
"This is a great, cozy little spot! It’s got an indoor fountajn, some cozy couches, some good places to study and work quietly as well. My one recommendation is to add some small cushions and pillows to the wood seating for more comfort, and maybe some tabletop games to play as well. The drinks are made pretty well! They do not skimp on the milk."
"Had a long day at work so brought a friend in 30 min before closing 7:24 pm 12/13/25. First of should have left with bag of trash at front door. Walk in was looking over the Baked goods. 4 people working not one said hello, welcome nothing. Grabbed 3 different Baked goods. Ordered 2 small Gelato. Still only price of almost $23. No Eye contact acted mad cause we were there. Maybe it was a tip she wanted? Put $3 in glass jar still no thank you, have a good nite nothing and we still standing their looking for spoons ,napkins and bags. Been here 2 times before but this experience was horrible. Let the Grinch 's know I will take my hard earned money elsewhere!!!!"
"DeBeen Espresso is a wonderful coffee shop with great and friendly staff who care about and take care of their customers! I've been going to DeBeen for many many years and I don't have a single complaint about DeBeen! If you want the best coffee and tea in the Triad then look no further than DeBeen because they have, hands down, the absolute best coffee and tea around in my humble opinion. Make a visit to DeBeen, because once you do, you will not want to visit another coffee shop in town! 😊"
"I'll definitely be visiting this coffee shop again! There were so many items to try! They have your traditional coffees, espresso, lattes, teas, frozen..."
