What People Are Saying

from Google

"Water Bean Coffee Cafe offers a cozy escape with its inviting atmosphere for people and cowork . The cappuccino was expertly crafted, boasting a rich, bold flavor that provided the perfect morning pick-me-up. Paired with the delicate sweetness of their macaroons, but not that great. The macaroons were not fresh and flavoured like frozen, with a satisfyingly chewy texture that complemented the creamy cappuccino. Overall, this Water Bean Coffee Cafe particularly is a one time -visit 🙂‍↕️."

"So far we have loved every Water Bean we've been to. The food is great and they always have plenty of delicious gluten free items available. The atmosphere is friendly and usually quiet. The music was a little loud today, but I'm positive that if we asked for different or quieter music they would have happily changed it. And the coffee was fantastic!"

"Not a huge deal, but if you’re going to advertise “food all day” it doesn’t really make sense to stop serving food at 6pm when you close at 9pm. I understand wanting to be able to clean up and such, but just say that you’re serving until 6pm if that’s the case. There was a large group in front of myself in line as well that was asking for food too, so the want is definitely there."

"This morning, I decided to try something different from Starbucks. When I pulled into the parking lot, there were two cars parked in the very first two parking spots, you can clearly see through the glass that there is no one inside (referring to customers). 1. My first experience is employees are Using the very first two parking spots that would benefit customers. 2. When I walked inside , there is a long walkway until you get to the counter. There were two women standing there looking down at… idk. No one decided to look up and great me. I was greeted once I physically stepped to the counter. 3. The greeting in itself was extremely hard to hear. I know everyone doesn’t project the same but I promise you the worker didn’t even try. 4. I’m used to making my coffee at home or just going to Starbucks so I did need a little time to look over their menu. When I came across a drink that I was familiar with, I shared it with the barista, “Classic macchiato”. I’m used to getting the caramel macchiato, which is why I went for the classic macchiato. She then proceeded to show me the size of the classic macchiato which is very small so I ask if there is a size that is larger. She’s explaining to me that the classic macchiato only comes in that size so she said that she’s able to make me a macchiato that is either 12 ounce or 16 ounce. So I then asked for her to give me a classic macchiato 12 ounce. With an attitude she tells me that the classic macchiato is only a specific size. Obviously, I’m saying classic (Which would refer to the size), but I’m only saying classic simply because that’s what’s on the menu there is no other option of macchiato! 5. The entire time she’s making the drink there is no conversation being had. Once she is done, she puts the drink on the counter and walks away. Mind you she said nothing ! Not have a good day.. NOTHING ! I made a statement which I can understand some may take wrong, but I only stated it to create conversation. I asked if she was having a bad day. She said no with an attitude. I then asked for a straw which she handed me. I then proceeded to say, “may I bother you for one more thing May I get another lid?” And that’s because I just watched her put her hand all over the lid. She then grabs another lid and places it on the counter THE COUNTER ! While my hand is out to grab it. ATP I have an attitude now and told her to give me another one IN MY hand and to stop playing with me. 6. Also the drink cost me $7.36 that’s $3 from $10 drink. I.E , the drink cost was much for the experience I received."

"Very good coffee for a reasonable price with great service! Multiple locations throughout the Chatlotte area. Very large space with cute decor to hang out and do work. They have a pretty good food menu and seasonal coffee options. Highly recommend this place if you are traveling to Charlotte."
