What People Are Saying
from Google"New to the area and have been meaning to scope this spot out. The staff seems very friendly. The menu is decent sized and offers a nice variety. While I intentionally like to go out of my way to shop local, unfortunately, this isn't the spot for me. The largest size coffee they offer is 16oz, which would be fine if it wasn't so expensive and mostly almond milk. Paired with a breakfast sandwich that had an egg the size of two quarters, my quick stop was $17!!! That's even more expensive than Starbucks. (Comparing expenses not vibes.) Based off my purchase I would normally rate this a two star, but the staff is nice and shop is adorable. The vibe is cute and cozy, but that's what you're paying for sadly."
"It’s definitely a cute little coffee shop with a good atmosphere. I love that they sell art. The indoor seating is great if you’re looking to sit and have a conversation, not so much if you’re trying to sit alone and do something that requires a table. I ordered a small (12oz) iced latte unsweetened with oat milk, my usual go to, for a little over $7. I didn’t see any prices listed on the menu so I was a little gob smacked at that price. The espresso here is extremely bitter. Don’t get me wrong, I usually prefer my drink a little on the bitter side, but the beans just tasted burnt and the oat milk they use I don’t think it’s very good quality; it was lumpy/gritty. Hopefully this is just a fluke, but I don’t see myself coming back to find out."
"Awesome atmosphere, great staff, and locally roasted beans? Count me in. Come in for their coffee flight with waffle sticks and a great icing for dipping. They have a great menu with great flavors for coffee and food options like spankotiopita which was really yummy and served hot and ready. The shop is beautiful, it has a ton of space to spread out, and room for the kids to run around and play."
"Great coffee and tea. One of the few places that don't use presweetened chai, they use loose leaf teas so you can choose your sweetener or opt out. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend."
"I used to love Milk Road for their outdoor seating area, and my kids enjoyed watching the magic happen in the kitchen. When they closed the back patio & open space, it really focused the attention on the interior, which is unpleasant. Food's great, though. They have a great location, very slow service with an excellent attitude, a cramped seating area, and dismal decor. The extra wait time gives you a chance to realize how dark the interior is, but the bathrooms are always clean and presentable. You won't get your order quickly, but it WILL be delicious - get the waffle w/ caramel if you've never had one, they're fantastic. It used to be a fun place to come and spend time with my other mom-friends while our kids played, but I think they're moving away from that market."
