Heading to Morehead from a few hours out we wanted to break up the drive for a bit and grab a bite, with our doggo in tow, so we found this spot on Google Maps and it was a great fit! Shawn, the owner, personally welcomed (all three) of us. Our lineup included a rose on tap, a canned porter, and three (very reasonably priced) bites from the all-day menu. We could not be more pleased with our quick visit and look forward to visiting again soon when we are back for a longer session."

"Three of us were looking for a nice place for Sunday brunch and Firefly Cafe was perfect. The unique atmosphere was welcoming. I appreciated the comfortable chairs which were padded and not just uncomfortable aluminum. The drink special, a lemon drop mimosa, was delicious! I had a savory crepe and the other two had an egg scramble. All three items were vey good. We finished off our meal with beignets which were light and fluffy and delicious. We will definitely be back!"
