"I was traveling for work and found this gem! Even though parking was a pain, it was worth the short walk. Had great conversation woth the owner, felt welcome and treated to a sample of their loose leaf kratom. The taste was smooth and not gritty. Very refreshing! Pricing is reasonable and service was excellent! If you are in the Raleigh area, you should stop by. I found my new spot in Raleigh! Thanks for a great experience!"

"BRANDON IS RUDE!!! I have been coming to this establishment for a while now. They have good drinks and great atmosphere. I’ve had great customer service with all expect one, Brandon. Brandon does the bare minimum service. I have notice when I’m at the bar sitting down, he doesn’t smile at me when he greets me, he is very monotones when he speaks to me and moves at a slow paste as if he doesn’t want to service me. However, I’ve seen how interacts with others which is the complete opposite. He smiles at other people and occasionally ask them “do the need anything else”. This happens every time I’ve come into this establishment, and because of him alone, I don’t feel welcomed in this establishment. He needs to do better with his diverse “customer service”."

"I’ve been coming to this establishment for quite some time now. They have good drinks and a great ambience. However, one of the employees gives the establishment a bad representation. When coming into the establishment, me and my guest didn’t feel welcomed by your employee Brandon. All of the other employees are polite, provided great service and made us feel welcomed. Brandon however, doesn’t take the time to acknowledge me and my guest; when being serviced, he gives us a tone and body language that speaks “unwelcome and unwanted.” Although, I do like this establishment, he makes me not want to return. Also, during the winter storm, I asked Brandon if I could receive a cup of water to pour on my windshield so I could get home safely. He proceeded to tell me that establishment doesn’t have any hot water and he suggest that I go walk Person street and ask another establishment in 15 degree weather at 11:30pm, which would’ve been unsafe being that I am a female alone with no protection. The establishment itself is a great ambience, however sometimes it’s the employees that will give the place a bad representation. I suggest him working on his customer service skills and how he treats certain customers who enter."
