"A hidden gem! My friend and I wanted a pick me up after some thrifting and this felt like the only place open. Down a gravel road, this tucked away coffee shop has hot, decaf, and nitro- with tea selections as well(non-dairy creamer was available). We hung out in the cozy seating area and checked out the local goods. Will definitely be back!"

"This very well might be my favorite roaster in the country now (and I've been to a couple hundred). I wish I lived in Raleigh so I could come here all the time. The vibes, mission, causes are all on point. Care and craft goes into their entire process and I was blown away. It's tucked back on a road that's in an industrial area so if you've not been, you have to go. The courtyard is peaceful. Their roasting facility is immaculate and the staff is amazing. 11/10 go check them out!"

"I really wanted to like this store. Wife loved a tea from NC, and Larry's had it for sale to ship to FL. Purchased Dec 5th for a Christmas gift. email confirmation received with estimated arrival Dec 10th. Life got busy, but before Christmas I noticed it still had not arrived, so I checked my emails. Had a "track my order" button, but it didn't work. I emailed support and they said package is on its way and gave me a button to check tracking. This button also didn't work. Wrote support again and told them. They tell me there was an error on their side, and were unaware that the link didn't work. Then asked if I wanted a refund or for them to reship with faster shipping method. It was unclear if my first order was still in transit, so I asked for clarification. They told me that the order was gone and out of their control but they never saw any tracking info. They said they would process a refund. Huge bummer, really wanted to surprise my wife. The cherry on top: My refund was processed after Christmas, but they didn't refund the shipping cost. So I didn't get the product I ordered, my wife didn't get her tea on Christmas, AND I HAD TO PAY FOR THE EXPERIENCE. Was hoping to set up a recurring order for this product and other fun things from NC to FL, but it's not happening with Larry's - they made sure of that."

"Please see my November 6 update below. My initial review was 1 star and I subsequently updated to 4 stars. The new ownership team at Larry’s Coffee seems unwilling to resolve shipping problems or even communicate with customers. In my case, I ordered a 2-pound bag of Woodstock Coffee that fell far short of the mark. After reporting this problem, I did not receive any response at all. After about 2 weeks I sent a second email that again generated nothing. Given this poor customer service, I decided to report a dispute with my credit card company for the purchase. Perhaps I should not be surprised but so far this has resulted in a similar stonewalling after more than a week. I am choosing to cancel my coffee subscription for Doctor Mojo after seeing nothing but trouble on the horizon for what has been a previously reliable coffee company. Update 11-6-25: one of the new co-owners got in touch and offered to help after seeing the one-star Google review. I am pleased with the action taken as a result and am revising my rating to 4 stars to reflect the positive response once I was on the radar with a real problem that could have been resolved much sooner if email communication had worked better."
