"We’ve seen the awesome ads on social media about this business. Finally had the chance to go check it out, and unfortunately, the hype did not live up to the expectations. Waited for about 7-10 minutes to receive the “Vegan No Milk” and “Strawberry Cheesecake” to which I’ll give 10/10 on presentation; however, it’s a 1/10 on taste and flavor. The vegan cookie was super hard. The chocolate ice cream was more ice than cream. The cheesecake on my husband’s order was hard like it just came out the freezer. Our visit definitely left more than something to be desired especially to spend $26 on two cups of ice cream! Hats off to the business for a nice atmosphere and marketing strategy; sadly, we do not plan to return for a second “try again”."

"Fun after school spot! This is the place I treat my kids for great grades. We always get their signature jar ice creams. We usually build our own flavors, but their signature flavors are epic! They also have vegan soft serve ice cream."

"Great presentation- everything looked like the photos! The was a decent crowd on a Saturday night and a bit of a wait but not too terrible. Service was doing their best. One order of cookies and cream ice cream on a cone was very good. However, the shakes tasted very strange. The milkshake itself was very chemical tasting- both of ours and the one our friends ordered too. The taste was somewhere between plastic and terribly inaccurate artificial flavoring. I cannot recommend the shakes especially at $18 each! (PB brownie something and cookie dough delicious.)"

"Great experience. My family and I arrived as soon as they opened at 12pm on a Saturday. There was no line to wait to get in. The workers were very thorough with explaining how I could get my bowl made. I wanted 2 different ice cream flavors and they made it custom in that way. After we ordered we sat to wait on our treats. It did take about 10+ minutes to make them and receive them which makes since considering each one being so decoratively made. I would definitely recommend eating in or sitting outside. They are not really made for easy transit. Take in the experience and stay in. We plan on making this a monthly treat to experience all the different shakes and bowls. Check them out. P.S. We checked the restrooms as well. They were very clean but I feel like it would be useful to add a hook on the door for hanging purses, bags, coats, etc...."

"This fun and fantastic place is located in downtown Raleigh, a great location to bring your family for a walk. The Yard Milkshake Bar is clean, and the staff is really friendly. It has a warm, decorative ambiance. The selection of ice cream flavors and shakes is very broad and can satisfy everyone’s taste buds. I highly recommend bringing the whole family. It’s a great meet-up spot and a perfect place to treat the kids. We can’t wait to go back."
