What People Are Saying
from Google"We went to Vidrio a few weeks ago with friends. Overall, the atmosphere was pretty nice, but I didn’t really love the service. For a restaurant at that level, it felt like there wasn’t enough attention from the staff or our server. The food itself was decent. We ordered scallops, an octopus salad, beef stroganoff, and I also got the chicken—they brought a pretty big portion, almost half a chicken. My wife ordered a steak. I liked everything overall; my wife didn’t love the steak, but I’m a big chicken fan and my dish was honestly excellent. Would I come back? Probably not. The food was good, but the place didn’t really give me a “wow” feeling, and the service and overall vibe just didn’t quite do it for me."
"It was absolutely delicious and the service was phenomenal! We had Mikayla and she took great care of us, gave great recommendations and made everything so enjoyable. I think this is one of the most unique places to have a meal in Raleigh and has a fantastic atmosphere inside. The food and drinks were amazing and I can’t wait to come back!"
"Vidrio was fantastic and the food and service was amazing. Attentive server, the hostess was very helpful, they recognized our celebratory event. Our Server Mike was very helpful. The venue is beautiful with 3 levels, the upper 3rd level and cool and laid back. Pop/Techno music is playing which gives it a very upbeat feel, ready to have a good time. The coal roasted chicken and that hangar steak was worth their weight in gold for sure! The Moroccan skewers were meaty and plenty to share. We will certainly come back here with friends!"
"I recently had the opportunity to dine at VIDRIO, and it was an impressive experience. Upon entering through the large, beautiful wooden doors, guests are welcomed into two distinct areas—an energetic main dining room and a quieter, more intimate bar section. The ambiance strikes a nice balance, offering options for both lively gatherings and more relaxed meals. To start, I ordered the Moroccan Beef Skewers served with harissa yogurt and sumac. Coming from a family with Lebanese influences through my fiancé, I’ve enjoyed excellent skewers in the past, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, these exceeded my expectations—the beef was flavorful, and the harissa yogurt with sumac was exceptional. I highly recommend this dish. For my entrée, I selected the Mixed Grill, which included hanger steak, roasted chicken, grilled shrimp, baby peppers, and an olive oil potato purée. Each protein was cooked well and paired with its own accompanying sauce, enhancing the flavors beautifully. All of the meats were juicy and thoughtfully prepared. Service was professional, though the waiter/bartender seemed quite busy with bar prep and stocking. While they only checked in twice, they remained polite and attentive when present. Overall, VIDRIO is a great choice for flavorful Mediterranean-inspired cuisine paired with a stylish atmosphere. I would gladly return and recommend it to anyone visiting Raleigh."
"Graycen was an outstanding waitress who truly elevated our dining experience with her exceptional service and attention to detail. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured every need was met promptly, making us feel valued and well-cared for throughout the meal. Her professionalism and warm demeanor were highlights of the visit. While the service was top-notch, the food itself was somewhat disappointing. The dishes lacked proper seasoning, which impacted the overall flavor, though the presentation and quality were otherwise acceptable. Despite the food being just okay, Graycen’s excellent service made the experience enjoyable overall. We’d return in hopes of improved flavors, confident that Graycen’s care would make it worthwhile."
