from Google & Yelp"I have been to Social Coffee specifically on Wrightsville Ave about a dozen times. They have a nice, convenient neighborhood location in town. However, their medium roast coffee is routinely out/empty or not fresh. I have been served cold coffee on numerous occasions. More often than not, I have left disappointed. I am not sure if they just don’t have a good system for keeping the coffee hot or aren’t routinely checking/brewing hot coffee. Their parking lot is challenging to find a spot to park and maneuver. The atmosphere seems like an inviting and relaxing place to work/study. I would recommend going to Social Coffee on Oriole Drive instead. We have received better service and better quality coffee at that location."
"used to call this place my fav coffee in wilmington for years, the past 3 times i’ve went there have been at least 3-4 people behind the bar and only 3-4 orders but still takes at least 10 minutes to get the coffee. while watching the employees move slow and chit chat. and then my coffee isn’t even a full cup, almost a quarter empty. i mean for almost $7 i’d at LEAST like my cup to be full, even if they just add more ice to make it feel more full. smh do better. going to grumpy grandpas from now on since they also have a homemade rosemary syrup…and it’s better."
"The matcha was really good and the baristas were friendly. The vibe is great and we were able to find seating. They have gluten free sweet treat options as well"
"I'll never be able to say enough good things about Social! The staff is always so welcoming and happy to chat about the newest menu items. I'm clearly a cappuccino regular but I love the variety of fun and locally focused options they have! And, they're big on supporting local bakers (such as Cakabakery!!), designers, creatives, etc. It's also a fantastic place to work or study from. The atmosphere is quiet enough to focus with perfect ambiance and music playing - love you guys and so happy for such a wonderful little local spot!"
"Social Coffee & Supply Co. is such a cozy find in Wilmington. I came here for the first time a couple of days ago to meet friends for coffee and Bible study, and it was the perfect spot—central, easy to get to, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The vibe is a mix of cozy and modern, with enough seating for our group of five to sit comfortably (toddler included!) without feeling cramped or rushed. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to linger and have real conversation. I also noticed it appears to be very dog friendly, which is a huge plus for anyone who loves to bring their pup along. Overall, a warm, community-friendly spot I’d definitely come back to for meetups with friends or if I had my dog with me."
"My boss brought us coffee from here today. I got the sea salt hazel with oat milk from their seasonal menu. It was SO good. It tasted like cereal almost. So..."
