"Very cool local gem! Chill Nitro has TONS, and I mean TONS, of flavors and combinations to choose from to make your own custom nitro-chilled dessert. Or, you can choose from the super impressive and creative options they have already perfected! For the 21+ crowd, add a shot of your favorite liquor and it can be mixed and frozen into the ice cream! ( I didn’t know you could do that🤯) The owner is very friendly and creative, so if you’re not sure what combination would be good, she can give some really good suggestions. They can use various dairy or dairy-free options for those looking for specific products to make it GF or Vegan, etc. They have themes and host special events, too! We were very glad to have stumbled upon this really cool ice cream shop and are already planning for this to be where we bring friends and family when they pass through Winston-Salem!"

"This was my first experience at Chill Nitro, and nitrogen frozen ice cream in general. I enjoyed it, although it was a bit pricey for two small ice creams. However, it was most certainly “dessert and a show,” as the freezing of the ice cream is done by nitrogen being pumped into Kitchen Aid mixing bowls where your ingredients have been placed. The process was very cool to watch, and most definitely different than any other ice cream shop I have been to before. I got cookies and cream ice cream, and my friend got Cheesecake ice cream. The texture of my ice cream was nice and creamy and smooth. However, her texture was off a bit, and it seemed icy. I am sure that is due to how it was made, but mine did not seem to have those characteristics. I think it was a good experience, but it was a bit pricey for ice cream. However, since a small portion was pretty large, I don't think you would need more than that."

"We had the best experience at Nitro! Caroline is lovely. She provided friendly prompt service and gave us lots of recommendations of things to do in the area. The kids were mesmerized by the made to order ice cream! Each of our creations were delicious and we‘re having a hard time choosing a favorite! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for creating such a bright and lovely space in the heart of Winston."

"i live in Louisiana but took a little side trip to winston salem when i was up in charlotte for a few days. the staff is SO kind, hardworking, and love providing for their community! even if u dont like ice cream, they have sooo many other options, like specialty drinks and pastries! they do fun theme nights like bingo and trivia also. chill seems like such an addition to the community and i wish i lived closer!"

"We found this little place by accident while visiting Winston-Salem today for the first time. The owner was friendly and charming, and when she recommended the banana pudding ice cream we could not resist! Creamy, crunchy, and super flavorful. The latte was also delicious and better than other coffee places we tried in the neighborhood:) Highly recommend!"
