What People Are Saying
from Google"Small batch is hands down the best place in Winston-Salem to get a burger and a craft beer. I’ve lived in Winston for 2+ years, unfortunately, I’ve only known about them for little over a year. They are the most consistent brewery in town, they don’t usually have sours on the menu, but they do offer a Gose, a Ginger Seltzer, blackberry blonde, as well as a house made cocktail menu. The bartending staff is exceptional! They are knowledgeable about their food and tap offerings and are able to suggest pairings and other combinations you may not have thought of yourself. 10/10 recommend trying small batch at least once, if not 1000 times after that. Soccer games across the globe are streamed often and usually available on request, along with College FB on saturdays; so the environment is very welcoming for international sports fans throughout the year. Tuesday is pint night where you get a pint glass per 2 pints drank per person, Wednesday is trivia, Thursday half price pours ($3 16oz craft beers) and my favorite by far is Friday Karaoke! Also: Met Rick Flair here. It was cool lol. That said, sometimes they can busy if there are conventions in town since they are close to the convention center, but even with a wait they’re always worth it!"
"Really cool spot. Right off the bat we could tell that the staff was exceptional since they welcomed us and everyone that walked through the door right away. I got the smokey burger which was delicious and quit filling. Also tried their Oktoberfest beer, which was also quite good. Again the staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to relax with friends and enjoy a great meal."
"We had a great time. We were staying downtown so we walked down to try the beer. The food looked good but we just had drinks. Lots of drink choices! They have draft towers, buckets of beer, any kind of liquor you could want. They have boozy milkshakes that looked really good. Food and drink Daily specials. Thursday is $3 drafts. We had fun with the servers and Joe Joe was great! The lemon man IPA was my favorite!"
"Came here back in November and forgot to review. We come to this place every year when we’re in town. The location is great and within walking distance from the hotel and the convention center. I’ll start off by saying the bartenders and staff are always nice, knowledgeable and always give good service! I will give a shoutout to Dora. She was pretty good! We ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with tots and the “Best Brussels” with sweet potato fries! Both dishes were very tasty and were great portion sizes. I did not leave here hungry. They also have a good selection of beers. This place has always been clean and always had good company. Depending on the time of day it can get pretty packed in there. But still I’ve never had bad service no matter what time it was! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!"
"We’ve been here many times and the food has always been great. It was good tonight. It took us 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us at the bar. I asked for extras twice and only got it one time but got charged two times. The only time the bartender was attentive is when it was time to check out."
