"Great food and vibes. This is one of those menus where you wish you had a week in town to try everything - creative dishes and ingredients sourced from local farmers. I went with the walleye fillet and it was outstanding! It’s always nice to stumble upon a place like this on the plains—proof that the region offers far more than just steakhouses and bars."

"The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, and surprisingly, it wasn't too busy on graduation weekend. We arrived at 12:15 and were promptly seated. The bartender/waitress were both very friendly and attentive. I found the breakfast-old fashioned to be a bit too syrupy for my taste, but it was still good, especially considering the bartender had to make it without maple bourbon. Now, moving on to the food: the fish and chips were excellent, featuring a crisp batter, and the coleslaw was also enjoyable. The red wine mushrooms with polenta, however, didn't meet my expectations; it was decent, but it definitely needed more flavor. While the beet salad was a hot salad, the issue was that the plate was too hot, which damaged the lettuce. This is something that could certainly be improved. Overall, considering the price, you definitely get your money's worth. If we're in the area again, we may return. One note: parking is on the street downtown, which could be an issue if it's busy."

"The place offers great food (I’ve tried the Shepherd’s Pie) and the website is easy to navigate. The feedback I have is that I made an order for curbside pickup and gave the restaurant a call when I reached about an hour later, but the waitress inside rudely hung up saying she’ll bring it out but didn’t do so until I walked in 5 minutters later and asked for my order after which she came running out with my order like she had no idea I had called a few minutes earlier. I would have no problem walking in and picking my order up, but I don’t see why this is necessary when there’s a curbside pickup option on the website + with the waitress giving an attitude like she’s doing me a favor. Overall, the food is great but don’t be surprised if you experience rude conduct."

"Ordered the pickle dip today, very disappointed. It did not have any pickle or dill flavored to it. It was a good dip however there was no pickle flavor to it. The whole point I ordered the dip was because I wanted pickles. The food was good. The walleye did have one small bone in it however that happens I’m not concerned about that. And the apple crumble dessert was very good! I would go back. But I may hold off on the dip."
