"Update 12/23/25- We had a much better server tonight- she was attentive and kind. We had burgers and a birthday dessert- fried oreos! Yum! .............. We did the buy 1, get 1 free burgers which is a great deal. They were good but we weren't impressed with our server. He hardly paid attention to us and we had to flag him down for popcorn and drinks. It was the perfect night to sit outside with almost no wind or bugs and good shade. We'll go back for sure, with hopefully better service."

"Very upset that our favorite waitress LIZ is leaving the Ground Round. She was one of the reasons we frequented the Ground Round pretty much every week!!! Might have to try a few other places now. Honestly have never run in to a waitress as pleasant, happy and never complained. Always remembered our order as we usually ordered the same each time. I say good luck Liz in all that you do."

"Cool to find one of the last GR! Clean and good service. I had tortilla soup that I’d rate 1/10, but I’ve never had that soup before. It had a velveta gloppy feel and pushed it away after a couple bites. I stayed away from meat or vegetables. Never been worried about food borne illness before, but there didn’t look like a lot of traffic or turnover on the salad front, so I went with the soup and a baked potato. Somehow the potato tasted stale. I got throat sores after, which usually happens when I eat highly processed or foods with rancid soy oil. It’s been a few hours and I now have raging heartburn and our hotel does NOT carry tums. So, basically I got ruptured throat lesions and heartburn, but it was clean and the service was good. If you like processed foods and aren’t too picky or have food sensitivities then check it out."

"Lunch burger deal was purchased. The burger was real good, however the house potato chips were over cooked. They are not good. Less cooked time would make a huge difference."

"Our group are fans of Ground Round—the food is consistently good, and we enjoy the classic dishes. Despite knowing several people who work here, I need to share our disappointing experience from our last visit(10/10/25) as the level of service was unacceptable. From the start, our server was remarkably rude and disrespectful to us. The interaction that really took us aback involved the complimentary popcorn. When she delivered a small bowl to our table, she actually informed us that this was all we were getting because she needed to "save the rest" for an upcoming sports rush. This rationing of a standard complimentary item was shocking, especially given her dismissive attitude. Furthermore, the massive "hockey rush" she was saving the popcorn for amounted to only three small tables. The awkwardness of the situation, coupled with her initial rudeness, made us feel so unwelcome that we chose not to ask for more. A server's attitude shouldn't make guests feel uncomfortable or like they are inconveniencing the staff simply by existing. While we love the food, the unprofessionalism of this server completely overshadowed our meal. Management should be aware that this kind of behavior actively drives away loyal customers."
