What People Are Saying
from Google"1 star for the way they charged every item separately instead of in a combo setting (which saves the consumer money). I got overcharged for the milkshake which should have been an add-on to the drink instead of a whole separate item. I hope this is new staff or a mistake, and an explanation as to what it was, otherwise I do not recommend giving your business to scammy tactics who most people will overlook and get overcharged for. A restaurant with bad food but exceptional service will get my business over one with the opposite traits, Runza actually makes great food."
"Our tour group of 31 traveling with Diamond Tours stopped at Runza and it was yummy. Most of the people on our bus had never tried Runza before. A lot of us are German/Russians growing up eating Kraut Bierocks, everyone enjoyed their meal. Friendly and fast service too!"
"My first time eating at Runza. It was a delightful blend of culinary simplicity and comfort food at its finest. Imagine a fluffy, yet slightly crisp, yeast dough pocket enveloping a warm mixture of seasoned ground beef, onions, and cabbage. The texture is soft on the inside with a pleasant exterior crunch, giving way to a steamy, flavorful filling that feels both nourishing and indulgent. The filling is well-seasoned but not overpowering, allowing the individual flavors to shine through. It's the kind of sandwich that warms you from the inside out, perfect for a cold day but just as satisfying any time of the year. While some variations include cheese or even a Southwest twist with jalapeños, the classic version, which I ate, is a staple Midwestern comfort food that defies fast-food categorization. Once you take a bite, you'll understand why this sandwich has a devoted following. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that combines the coziness of home-cooked fare with the convenience of quick service."
"I am not from Nebraska and a friend here told me I had to try the Runza sandwich. It was amazing! I hope I get the chance to have another one before I leave! The price was very reasonable!"
"We were told that we had to have a Runza while in Nebraska. I definitely enjoyed it. It was a bit small and could have had another for sure. The staff was so nice and friendly helping out two newbie’s."
