"Amigos/Kings Classic at 14th & Pine Lake is my go to for coffee in the mornings. It amazes me how well their young employees are trained. If I could sum them up with one word it would be "Consistency" Their coffee is great and very reasonably priced compared to their competitors. The drive through moves quicker than most by far. Every now and then when I indulge in a crisp meat burrito or soft shell taco for lunch or dinner the quality is always top notch. And the spicy sauce is the best! Thanks for being a staple in Lincoln and in Nebraska!"

"As a vegetarian, accurate orders are very important to me. I do not have the enzymes to process meat, so it goes beyond the "choice" that most see my dietary restriction as. I ordered a few burritos, and specified "no meat" in my order, as I usually do with drive thrus. After a few bites in, I knew something was fishy (or should I say bovine) because I was munching down on something I didn't order. I went back to the drive thru to order burritos without meat, saying how disappointing it was that this is one of 2 times I've eaten meat in 18 years, and thankfully, they replaced my order with the meal I had ordered in the first place. Unfortunately, the replacement meal I received was filled with multiple hairs, and I didn't want to eat that one either. I was late to work by turning around for this meal I didn't eat for the second time, and I got a bit sick later in the day, because again, my body doesn't produce the enzymes to digest meat, and I unknowingly ate it. I'm rating this 3 stars because although my entire experience here was terrible, I was still given enough hairs in my meal, that maybe I could clone a person if I wanted. That option is cool, and no restaurant has been so courteous with their human DNA. If you want an Amigos that rocks, take a short trip further south to 40th and Yankee Hill, their service is great, their quality is above what you expect, and the Amigos on 14th and Pine Lake doesn't deserve your business the way that they do on 40th and Yankee Hill."

Plus a Mexi Fry Nachos! 🧡 ***************************************** Last week me and the little one went to get our Amigos fix. Even though we have 2 locations fairly close to the house we make it a point to frequent the one at 15th & Pine Lake. They always get my order right and generally have excellent customer service. I have to mention the (presumably) 3 employees trying to run the whole show. Obviously understaffed I was still greeted quickly and told they would be with me as soon as possible. While I waited I noted how calm, cool, and collected the team was. One held down the line while the other 2 ran around each volunteering to do the next thing. Above all they were kind. To me but also to each other, very much so. I'm sure they got an earful from many frustrated customers in the busy drive thru. Our food was great, another experience that cemented my patronage at this location. ❤️"

"I think Amigos is pretty good for fast food. There's nothing very traditional about it. But it's pretty good value. And they at least try to come up with new menu items."
