"I ordered my meal through the app, which said it would be ready at 12:39 p.m., and it was marked as ready at that time. I arrived at 12:38. When I said “ma’am,” the employee did not acknowledge me at first, so I repeated myself. She eventually looked up from her phone, where she had been texting, and yelled “yes.” I told her I was there to pick up my order. The employee, who identified herself as Shannon (the manager), did not provide the order right away. At 12:47, I asked again about the status since the app showed the food was ready. After waiting patiently, she handed me the order a few minutes later. My food was cold, so I politely asked if it could be remade. At that point, she said she was calling the police. She then called me “stupid” and made a comment that I “looked like her a daddy.” I remained calm, soft-spoken, and polite, but chose to leave after that exchange."

"I don't like leaving a bad review because Amigos used to be really good but man it's gone way down hill over the years. The beans are horrifically bad compared to how they used to be, they always have some soured taste nowadays like it's not at all made fresh anymore or they make way too much so they're just reheating tons of leftovers every day and really everything there seems off and destroys your stomach because it's not fresh or something and then after it destroys your stomach and you go to use their bathroom, the toilet literally tips over off the ground if you lean a slightly to the side. It will literally fall on it's side if you don't catch yourself..... If they're too complacent and incompetent to do something about a major hazard like that then there's many more harsh things that could be said so I'll stop myself here lol"

"Stopped by the Highlands location for a nostalgic lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the employees were friendly and actually having fun. The Supervisor Shannon seems to be the reason for this, she was friendly and engaging with her team. If someone at Amigos corporate reads this please give Shannon a raise because she is an asset to your company."
