"I have recommended this place to so many people because I genuinely like their beer, but my recent visit with two friends was incredibly frustrating due to confusing pricing policy and rigid staff enforcement. We selected three single cans of light beer from the fridge, intending to sit outside. Before we even had a chance to consult a staff member about our seating, a friend opened their can. Immediately, the bartender intervened, informing us that because the can was opened, the total price for all three cans shifted instantly from the retail "to-go" price (a total of $9.00) to the "on-premise" price (a total of $16.50). We were also told we had to move inside. While I understand that businesses must adhere to specific license requirements, this policy was not communicated anywhere, nor were we asked our intentions at the point of sale. The lack of warning and the immediate, steep $7.50 total upcharge;simply because my friend was thirsty; felt punitive and completely unnecessary. We stood there feeling as though we had committed a crime until she finalized the transaction. The entire exchange made us feel instantly uncomfortable and unwelcome. This situation could have easily been resolved with a simple, polite warning and guidance before the transaction was converted. I have brought many people to this brewery in the past because I liked their light beer, but due to this negative interaction and the poor customer service, I will not be returning. Clear communication about policy is essential to prevent such frustrating misunderstandings."

"Great brewery in Hay Market of Lincoln, NE. Perfect place to hang before and after sporting events, concerts any weekday or weekend. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Live music outside. Great selection of beers on tap and whiskey along with the option for any cocktail made to order."
