What People Are Saying
from Google"Great coffee and a great study place vibe! As a visiting student in the area, I wish I had a really chill vibe of a coffee shop to do homework or rent a study room at! Coffee is excellent as well! (They have treats that seem to also be a local favorite) Study rooms cost $2, $5, and $20(for a big conference room) per hour. They have pool tables for $3/half-hour and $6/hour. They also have a cool stage that they hold events at and a boardgame/fooseball corner for more fun. Awesome to see a place not only hold places for customers to have a space and be productive, but also to gather for events and community as well!"
"Great coffee! Amazing art! Loads of seating and study rooms! Couple of pool tables! Really cool aesthetic! Super fun events! Open late! Chris is my fave barista!"
"Can definitely get busy but is such a cozy spot with great art from local artists hanging in the walls, comfy seating, games and pool tables! Baristas are always super friendly and welcoming. Also serves as a ministry(?) I believe - if that’s not your bag, you can still enjoy the place just as much but don’t be surprised if you see religious undertones, overhear talks of mission trips! Love that this coffee shop is open late as well 💕"
"I love this place. It’s a wonderful option for people who want coffee later in the night, if you want to play free board games with friends or play pool in somewhere other than a bar, and they have study rooms that you can rent for only a few dollars per hour so you can get some privacy instead of sitting in their large lounge area with plenty of seating. There’s local art posted around available for purchase and they really make sure they’re ingratiated with the community. Also, it almost goes without saying, the coffee is amazing and there are also a lot of non-coffee drink that are also great!"
"Obviously Sozo is great. It used to be my old study haunt while in college, I had my bridal shower there, and I've had several interviews and hang out sessions there too. Great place, so much space and many things to do. The coffee is always great and the baristas are always so friendly and fast even when there's a major line. Long live Sozo for sure!"
