from Google & Yelp"This place does plant-based food justice! It being gluten- and nut-free is icing on the allergen-friendly cake. I ordered the Gouda Burger with fries, a side of Matt Sauce, and a Faux-stess Cupcake. At first I thought I wouldn’t like the fries because they were on the thicker side, but they were cooked wonderfully! The burger was delicious and I couldn’t even tell that the bun was gluten-free. The Matt Sauce was a great addition as well. Now the Faux-stess Cupcake… wow. I’m always wary about plant-based/gluten-free sweets, mostly because they’re always dense or so dry, but when I tell you this thing was MOIST. I genuinely enjoyed eating it and that’s what dessert is supposed to be like, regardless if you have dietary restrictions or not. The atmosphere was super cute and I spent most of my time just looking at all the art/decor on the walls. I highly recommend stopping by!"
"VegEdible created our allergen-friendly wedding cake, and it was phenomenal! We chose a strawberry cheesecake cake with buttercream frosting, and it was as beautiful as it was delicious. The team at VegEdible was an absolute joy to work with — you can tell they truly love what they do. It was such a relief and a gift to find a bakery that could accommodate all of our guests’ allergies without sacrificing taste or presentation. Everyone raved about how amazing the cake was — no one could believe it was allergen-friendly! We live out of state, but VegEdible has absolutely earned a permanent spot on our must-visit list whenever we’re in town. Highly, highly recommend for anyone looking for incredible allergen-conscious treats made with care and creativity."
"Delicious food, similar to a restaurant that went out of business in KCMO, that I have been missing. I ordered the BBQ cheese fries. I have Celiac disease and am allergic to dairy and so, and am vegan so finding a restaurant where I can eat just about anything on the menu is exciting as growing up I felt left out every time my family went out to eat and I would either bring my own food or I would sit there watching them eat, silently thinking about how gross their food was. The vanilla sprinkle donut was moist, I usually can't eat this type of food because of the dryness of the bread product. The cookies and cream shake was good but I would have preferred a plain vanilla shake."
"Was driving through Omaha on a road trip and looked up vegan restaurants and found this gem. So delicious!! Had a strawberry shake, brown sugar vanilla shake, The Ruby melt with fries, and a BYOB. Everything was delicious. We picked up a cookies and cream slice of cake and a brown sugar cookie for the road. If you are in Omaha or passing through, be sure to stop here!"
"As a person with celiac, I can’t quite describe how comforting it is to be able to go to a restaurant and order anything on the menu without being worried about getting sick. I go here just about every week and still feel giddy as I’m walking up to the door. My fiancé and I love Veg.Edible not only for gluten safety, but also for its quality and taste. The burgers and fries are exquisite, and the vegan cheese is delicious. We’re not vegan, but it inspires us to pursue more vegan options in our own cooking. We also love to grab a dessert on our way out; there’s always something new and scrumptious to try. Highly recommend!!"
