"I had the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had in my whole life today! Way to go Wheatfields! My wife's hash browns were a little well done but the ham and eggs were perfect! My sons and grandson's meals were very good. They had a half of a Belgian waffle, eggs, bacon and a roll and a sweet roll"

"Wheatfields was recommended to us by friends -- that was a great suggestion! Service was good and the food was delicious. And they have cool light fixtures. I ordered the Butcher Shoppe Quiche which comes with a Struedel and a side of baked apples. For my Struedel, I choose Blueberry. It was served with fresh, housemade whipped cream -- totally delectable! The quiche was great too, with plenty of chunked ham and a good-sized sausage. The accompanying hollandaise sauce was terrific to boot! My wife had the Omaha's French Dip. Healthy amounts of thin-sliced tender beef topped with Swiss cheese filled a long baguette and she liked the au jus flavor too. We plan to return in the future."

"Went here for dinner last weekend with a couple friends and overall it was a pretty solid experience. The place has a relaxed American vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. I ordered a burger with fries and it came out hot and cooked the way I asked, which I apreciated. Fries were crispy, maybe a little salty but still good. Service was friendly and not rushed, though it did take a bit for refills when it got busy. Prices felt fair for the portion sizes. Not the best meal I’ve ever had, but definitely a place I wouldn’t mind coming back to again."

★★★★★

"This is an absolutely amazing place for a beautiful dinner in or take-out. Highly recommend Andrew's Chicken Enchilada Verde, but what ever you have, you must try a portion of Strawberry Wedding Cake! Simply Delicious!"

"This was one of my wife’s favorite places when she lived in Omaha. We visited recently and had breakfast. The pastries looked amazing, and her Carmel roll was really good. She did mention that it used to have a lot more Carmel on it. She had the ham steak and poached eggs. I had the country fried steak. I loved that they had biscuits with it and gravy. There was a pretty decent crowd on a Saturday morning. We didn’t have to wait to be seated. We did not experience any of the negative things mentioned in other reviews about customer service."
