What People Are Saying
from Google"Great family-friendly pub that also seems perfect for large parties. The service was exceptional—very attentive and welcoming. The menu is extensive with plenty of variety, and our food was fresh and well prepared. I did find my $20 salad a bit small and wouldn’t have minded a few extra leaves, though the grilled chicken add-on was delicious. The house-cut fries were tasty but could have used a few extra minutes in the fryer, and the fish and chips needed a bit more seasoning. Overall, we were very happy with our experience. The dessert menu was excellent, and the bathrooms were very clean."
"Exceptional service can elevate an otherwise ordinary meal, and Cathy proved exactly that. While the food was satisfactory, flavorful yet unremarkable. Cathy’s attentiveness and genuine care left a lasting impression. She thoughtfully recommended the award winning mozzarella sticks for our appetizer and allowed us to exchange the white chocolate crème brûlée, saving dessert and showcasing a level of hospitality that’s increasingly rare. The restaurant itself is solid, but it’s the people like Cathy who transform it from good to truly memorable."
"Very good food with a lunch and dinner menu. Average price of entrees are about $18 plus. While the lunch menu is around $12 plus. Restaurant offers a great selection of desserts. My pictures include a turkey sandwich with fries, a steak tip wrap with fries, and a French onion soup. Also has a very nice bar area"
"The Red Blazer is a great eatery and bar in Concord. They have an excellent draft beer menu and there is something for everyone on their menu. We sat in the bar area because we didn’t realize that we came in that door - our server was great and entertaining the whole room. Every runner and other staff member was nice and asked if we needed anything. The food is as expected - they offer American eats and seafood. We order nachos that were tasty but a bit wet and greasy, the maple wings were excellent! Definitely top five ever. The fish sandwich had a breading that turned the fish yellow which was off putting, buffalo chicken sandwich was average and steak tip wrap was the best entree we ordered. They have a great desert menu but we didn’t partake with two apps and entrees. I would definitely go back! This is a great NH restaurant and fit for large parties and events."
"My Anit and I went to the Red Blazer after Christmas to have a post holiday lunch. We were asked if we wanted to be seated by the fireplace, which we thought would be cozy. The fireplace wasn't lit which was disappointing, but we were next to the christmas tree and poinsettia's and lit dear which was lovely. In the middle of our lunch, staff began reaching around our table taking out the poinsettia's, leaving dead leaves and messy decorations. Then they started sweeping right behind us. I asked to speak to a manager trying explain that it was not only disruptive, but killed the ambiance of our holiday lunch. The manager interrupted me twice saying that the person recycling the plants was doing them a favor and was doing it when it was convenient for him. I tried to explain that they could have sat us elsewhere, or move us once they knew it was a problem, but she wasn't listening saying it was needed. Later she said they would try to do better "next Christmas". Food was good, but not outstanding as it has been in the past (though the French onion soup was second to none). Not sure I want to go back, sadly. If I had gotten a bit more understanding by the manager I would have chalked it up to a bad day. Sarah, our server was wonderful. Sad because it is typically a nice option for a cozy meal."
