What People Are Saying
from Google"First time coming to Little Havana and definitely won’t be my last. The food was delicious and well presented, portioned and priced. Atmosphere could accommodate a big group near the bar, large booths along the wall and secluded high top tables near the rear. Heard the upstairs is a private dining room and definitely inquiring next time we have an event to plan. This place should be busier, but probably the location just off Main Street means you have to know about it. More people should…"
"Oh my goodness I cannot say enough good things about Little Havana!!! The food is authentic and delicious, the atmosphere is simultaneously lively and cozy, and the service is truly out of this world. Highly recommend the ropa vieja, tostones (pictured) and the croquetas. Wish I took more photos but we couldn’t wait to eat everything. Great cocktails and very nice wine list!"
"Little Havana is a hidden gem of Hanover. My family and I ate at this restaurant during Family Weekend, and despite being busy, the restaurant's service was excellent: our waiter was very kind and friendly, and the food came out relatively quick. We had the Tostones Rellenos, Masitas de Puerto (pork), Ropa Vieja (Beef), and Torrija con Helado (French Toast dessert). All of these dishes were delicious, and we will definitely be coming back here in the future!"
"We had a lovely evening at this cozy Cuban spot in Hanover! Water was served in a big glass bottle—nice touch—and the decor gave off warm, inviting vibes. The drinks were great (though I’d love to see a bit more variety, maybe a spicy margarita someday?). Our server, Gabriel, was super friendly and welcoming. Service was a bit slow—he took our food order a while after bringing out the drinks—but he did apologize, and honestly, I get it. It’s a small-scale place, and the atmosphere makes it worth the wait. I had the pan con lechón (roasted pork sandwich with citrus and garlic) and it was delicious—flavorful, filling, and very affordable (just 12 bucks!). The plantain chips on the side were a great addition. The owner even came by to chat, which was a lovely personal touch. But the real star? The calatrava dessert with Cuban coffee—absolute foodgasm moment. Just perfect! Overall, a nice experience!"
"We can't wait to come back to this place for a date night! There is a fun vibe that welcomes you when you enter the restaurant. The service is fantastic, and if you can't decide what to order, just ask! The owner came around to make sure we were enjoying the food. The food has so much flavor and tastes homemade."
