What People Are Saying
from Google"The Little Store at the Marsh Brothers Deli is an historic and legendary landmark known for 5 things: egg breakfast sandwiches on Portuguese muffins or wraps, rockin' sammies with home-smoked meats, fresh daily donuts, homemade soups and local beer drops. Look at all of the Reader's Choice awards on the window outside. There's no coincidence why. Delicious flavors for breakfast and lunch. Check their Facebook page for daily photos of donuts and features. Donuts are commonly cinnamon, fritters, maple and lemon zeppoles. Their most popular sandwiches are the pressed Cubano with pickles and mustard and the Roast Beef sandwich with an onion roll. The Cubano sandwich is hefty and satisfying, cleanly presented. The Roast Beef sandwich is better. It's got a real pleasing marinated flavor, it's a stack of soft, thinly sliced roast beef and the onion roll-- where else are you going to find any sandwich like that in the area?! Speaking of another fabulous find: there is a smoked chicken meat salad sub. This is the best chicken sandwich sub I've ever tasted. There is a simple and plain version. They also feature the smoked chicken salad in daily specials sometimes with added ingredients. Also for the egg breakfast sandwiches: I haven't found Portuguese muffins anywhere outside of the Vineyard or Manhattan. Maybe in the whole Bostonian area these muffins are more common but I haven't found them anywhere in grocery stores in the Upper Valley. There are also local maple syrups, honey and chips available. You can walk right in and go to the back refrigerators for local beer and find recent beer drops. Also there are local maple products available. Their meat smoker is built special-ordered by their cousin and is quite a beast! My advice: don't come to the Little Store at Marsh Brothers Deli. Or else you might become a ravenous regular."
"The service was excellent, it's a great little sandwich shop. My buddy got the Buff Mac Wrap, and I got the Cubano. The Buff Mac Wrap was hot garbage. Nothing more to be said, other than it is a total abomination. The Cubano has an impressive amount of meat, but the smokiness of the meat requires a tang the mustard just couldn't bring. I'm willing to bet the woodfire pastrami gets down.. maybe we'll take another 2 hour ride, and find out. If we do, I'll adjust the review. Ditch the buff mac wrap boys. It's trash."
"It's authentic smoked meats and it doesn't get any better. I checked. Photographed is the Marsh Brothers Roast Beef. It's exquisite!"
"Favorite sandwich place in the upper valley by far. Some of the best pastrami I've had anywhere too and I've had a lot in a lot of places. This place is a must go."
"Finally got to check out Marsh Brothers Deli. I am so happy I did. Fantastic food. Will definitely be back for sure. I got the Avacado Omelet Sammy. It was so delicious. Highly recommended. Super friendly staff as well."
