What People Are Saying
from Google"A-Market has an excellent selection of healthy, natural, organic, allergen free and locally grown foods and products. A lot of items that are generally hard to find. Extensive bulk section. Hot coffee and soups to go. Fresh produce that looks really fresh. Small packages of picnic friendly foods like curry chicken salad for example. We had a great time shopping here and picking out some snacks along our road trip! We loved seeing Brookford Farms yogurt and meats - will be back to buy some soon! This store has another location which I visited in Newport, Rhode Island. It is similar in the products it offers - both store have so many great products and very clean but the other location offers a smoothie bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Both have restrooms for customers."
"Horrible customer service. I hope the owner is aware about how their staff handles customer concerns. I went to return 2 raw milk bottles and didn’t have the plastic top and they wouldn’t take the return. It’s not stated clearly anywhere and would have been nice for them to let me know for future reference and take the bottle return. They were quite rude and no understanding of customer service. So instead of having a customer that would spend $100s a month I will not be returning out of principle. The cashier obviously didn’t care since it’s not her business."
"Need something to eat for the road this has great items to,select from. If you only purchase plastic free they have bulk, soap by the inch, fresh produce and several other things to choose from. I use homeopathic remedies, rescue remedies and herbal tinctures. They have them all and the prices are comparable to local health food stores. You may pay a little more at local specialty stores but it’s worth not having to wait for an online order to arrive. Not to mention the waste of that box it comes in. Remember ordering online may be less $ because they buy in large quantities which allows them to sell for less. I prefer to have the item in my hand when I need it. Pictured are quinoa bites, soaps, chocolates, homeopathic and rescue remedy products, and even cell salts! Wish I knew more about them. Only downside, I have actually driven passed this store several times and this was the first time I (we)noticed the sign. Due to full parking in front of Nepalese restaurant. I will shop here again :)"
"Nice clean place. Lots of variety of foods. They have Raw milk which is a nice alternative. They have eco-friendly products like candles and toilet paper. Holistic products as well. They have a clean bathroom at the back left of the store. Just ask the cashier for the key. They have Glass Bottled milk jugs that you can return for the $2 deposit. Just make sure when you return them clean, you have the lids as well."
"I recently visited this store for soup, and while the selection was good, I had a few concerns about my experience. First, I found it unusual that the store weighs the crackers along with the soup and charges for the combined weight. Most places offer crackers separately or complimentary, so this felt a bit unfair. It would be better if the crackers were either provided as a free addition or weighed separately to avoid overcharging customers. Additionally, the atmosphere wasn’t very inviting. The staff didn’t seem particularly welcoming, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. A friendlier approach from the team would go a long way in creating a more positive environment for customers. I hope this feedback is helpful for improving the experience. With a few changes, I think this store could really stand out in a better way."
