What People Are Saying
from Google"It was such a warm and welcoming atmosphere on a cold winter morning. Pastries looked amazing and all the packaged goods on the shelves were authentic and well sourced. The delightful scent of coffee was in the air and the staff were absolutely friendly as you approached the counter. Despite a buzz of patrons trickling in and ordering, the coffee was delivered to the table shortly after I sat. The staff obviously had a strong momentum going as I watched other tables being served just as quickly. Before I could even really start sipping on my piping hot Cafe Au Lait, I was served my salad and crepe. It was fun to watch how each person worked their station passionately. The lady preparing the crepes meticulously cleaned her station as she cooked. The staff on coffee were brewing away and sending cups out to diners. Other items were coming out from the back kitchen. They worked in unison like a well oiled machine. I definitely enjoyed my coffee. My salad was generous and hit the spot. The crepe was acceptable. Would I come back? Yeah, definitely my type of breakfast spot when visiting Portsmouth again. I definitely will try their croissants next time as well as check out their wine bar in the evenings!"
"We came here for brunch and it was one of the best decisions we made today. We ordered the butter croissant, chocolate croissant and the quiche with the salad. The drinks we got were an Americano and Cappuccino, both really tasty. The service was welcoming and excellent. The aesthetic was very French, it reminded me of Québec city. We’d definitely go here again, it was a great experience."
"My cappuccino and my husband’s latte were great! My husband ordered a croissant: it was good, but we can make something just as good or even better at home, so it didn’t really surprise us. I ordered the Croque Madame, which definitely wasn’t a real croque more like a cheap imitation I’ve had several Croque Madames in NYC and other places, and they’re always creamy, cheesy and flavorful. This one, though, was really dry, the bread was badly burnt, the egg had no salt or black pepper, there was no creaminess, the ham was thin and I could barely taste the cheese… I was disappointed Macarons: 9/10 I’m not sure I’d go back, but maybe I’d give it a second chance"
"I can't begin to share how much I love their build your own Sammie. I have never been disappointed and switch it up every time I visit, this AM - croissant, 2 scrambled & gruyere. Gruyere is a must! They always cook the eggs lightly so they are delicate & soft. Can't beat it. Also got a Classique Crepe, good till the last bite also"
"I ordered the smoked salmon on baguette instead of cold sandwich, tastes good although on the pricy side and small portion size. Mellow and pleasant atmosphere...small space but cozy. Friendly staff. I give 4 stars bcse I was expecting a whole sandwich for the price I paid not a half sandwich."
