"Like to go to a local shop when traveling. This was right off the town Square and tucked in a row of shops that had some heavy duty street work going on. (Oct 23rd, 2025) But, glad I found them. Ordered 4 as they are quite large. Fed our group of 4 just fine. The pumpkin cream cheese icing was outstanding. Worth the effort to find if you like a great donut. Service was excellent and staff were very welcoming."

I salivated over a gluten free crème bruleè and let me tell you. I could have cried with joy. It was wonderful. The the fried doe donut was exceptional. Please stop here!"

"I’ve been vegan for a long time and I’ve tried a number of vegan donuts, but this by far was the best experience I’ve ever had. We tried two: the cider donut (very delicious, cake-y) and the jam-filled donut which was absolutely the most delicious donut I’ve ever had and you would truly never know it was vegan. Soft, flakey, not at all crispy or overly fried like I’ve had at some other establishments. Very impressed, looking forward to my next visit to Portsmouth so we can try another flavor!"

"I can’t leave less than 4 stars because I’m a Lovebirds donut stan forever BUT the miserable staff at the Portsmouth location are a real drag. I usually go to Kittery but wanted to bring some friends to the Portsmouth location since we were there. Won’t be doing that again! The donuts are always awesome and the Kittery location is 10/10 consistently. I don’t expect anyone to fall over themselves smiling and doing the chipper thing - we are all human - but the Portsmouth location grumps take it to another level of awkward."
