"My usual place was closed, so I decided to give this a shot. The atmosphere was nice. The takeout service was slow even though it was almost empty. Employees were in no rush to fill the order. The sandwich was sad compared to the photos I saw on google when I was looking for somewhere to eat. Bacon looked like the microwave stuff from the grocery store. Egg was good. Bagel ok. I had to try and find the cheese there was so little. I'm sure the drinks and other food are good but the breakfast sandwich needs some work."

"We came to visit Portsmouth and stopped by this lovely cafe two days in a row. Both afternoon coffee and next day breakfast are satisfying. Location and atmosphere are amazing, lots of choices of drinks, food, snacks. Employees were very friendly and inviting, service was fast. Only complaint is that the croissant sandwich was pressed down flat… other than the appearance, everything tasted wonderful."

"A virtual second home :) Stroll is the place to go for a bunch of productive hours on a laptop, a quiet place to read; fantastic snacks, awesome breakfast and lunch options, great bakery and excellent curated wine line up? Did I mention live music and different events through out the month? The team on site is the friendliest too. The week starts quietly at a Stroll on Monday and then progresses to a busy weekend destination :) Not to miss."

"Service was fine but the place is a complete joke price wise... I guess so is everything in portmsouth, but they'll learn the hard way and be out of business before too long. They really don't have much of a menu and the sandwiches are pretty uninventive and completely overpriced. We got two sandwiches (one was egg salad one was chicken) and 2 drinks (waters) and it cost us $30. And these weren't extraordinary sandwiches.. they were normal sized sandwiches... normal sized bread. And with those overpriced sandwiches came .... nothing. no chips ... no pickle... nothing. just a small 6" plate with a sandwich like your mom used to make... (probably not even as good). Why people support restaurants like this frequently floors me. Just another portsmouth restaurant that is (way) overpriced for mediocre food..."
