from Google"Highly recommend the Rosemary Salt Bagel with any savory schmear! So far the schmears I've tried have been sundried tomato basil, carmelized allium, cardamom currant, miso paste, and olive, which is my favourite:) The drinks are great too! The interior is aesthetic and bathrooms are always clean. The bagels are fresh and flavourful. I recommend getting there before the sell out for the day. Prices are good too- the bagels are cheaper than the cream cheeses, so I recommend getting 2 bagels and one cream cheese because there is plenty of cream cheese. I’m so glad they started doing hot sandwiches because sausage egg and cheese is my favourite! Two layers of sausage and extra cheesy, it took a while for them to make, but it was worth the wait!"
"one of the best bagel sandwiches I’ve ever had and I live in NYC !! They have vegan cream cheese (nut based) & vegan butter but they do not advertise it. Thank you for having dairy-free options!! I got the rosemary salt bagel - delish, and the pickled red onions were incredible. The iced latte was also great. I will be back!"
"Great renovation of an old space! Cool vibes. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Tried today’s special at @Getty Bagel in Portsmouth and wow… let’s just say many napkins were harmed in eating this meal. 😅 The special was a stacked masterpiece with cucumber, radish slices, pickled onions (my fave), and tomato basil cream cheese, finished with a drizzle of lemon oil. I got it on an everything bagel, and as you can see from the picture, it was definitely not a dainty snack. The crunch of the fresh veggies was perfect, and those pickled onions made me extra happy. I probably could’ve skipped the lemon oil, but it was light enough that it didn’t steal the show. And let’s be honest—I don’t need a salad today, this bagel covered it. 🥒🥗🥯 Bottom line: messy, filling, fresh, and absolutely worth it. Big shout-out to Getty Bagel for keeping the specials fun and delicious!"
"incredible Bagels, all made in house. fresh. the schmears are great, too. they have nice hand made hot sandwiches as well. oh... and their Baristas really know their craft. Great coffees, lattes etc. he only "ding" here is the crowd at the register. people are constantly jostling left and right, saying "excuse me"... it is poorly set up in that regard"
"Getty Bagel in Portsmouth is clearly a local favorite — we arrived about an hour after opening and found a line out the door, but it moved quickly (about 15 minutes). The shop keeps things simple, focusing solely on fresh bagels and a variety of cream cheese smears, which means every bite delivers on quality. They regularly sell out, so coming early is key. The bagels are chewy, flavorful, and worth the wait."
