"Brunch perfection was achieved at The Wilder in Portsmouth, thanks to Chef Emily & the team's outstanding cuisine & beverages, paired with Oliva's exceptional service. We began with a bold, savory Bloody Mary, garnished with dill, shrimp, bacon, & homemade pickles. The poutine Benedict with braised short rib was rich and flavorful, while my omelette with goat cheese, caramelized onions, & wild mushrooms, served with crispy hash browns & spicy sausage, was cooked to perfection. Every bite was flawless."

"We met family for brunch on a Saturday at noon. There were six of us. I made reservations, but we would have been fine without. Our server Olivia did an excellent job throughout our service. Everyone enjoyed their food. The music was a touch loud for me, but we were still able to hear one another - that is the reason for 4 stars in atmosphere. By the time the entrees arrived, the sun had gone behind some clouds so the rest of my food photos did not make the cut for the review unfortunately."

"We went for brunch and felt there was a limited menu, not much for gluten free options. Our table felt the fries and hash browns were average. Our oysters were good!! The waitress was kind and it was a very chill atmosphere. Definitely bar vibes!"

"We went here for New Year’s eve. We sat down at 5:40 and ordered an espresso martini. We ordered within happy hour, but was still charged $13. Regardless, the espresso martini was great. When the server dropped our drinks off, we ordered. Our popcorn appetizer came soon after and within 3-5 minutes our two chicken sandwiches were ready. We didn’t have time to enjoy our appetizer. The chicken sandwiches were both cold. It was clear they were not made to order, and were most likely sitting out. Our meal felt rushed. Disappointing way to spend New Year’s Eve. We didn’t really even have time to enjoy ourselves. Our server was fine, but just felt rushed. The table next to us, who were on the older side—didn’t seem like they were being rushed, as they were still enjoying their appetizer as we were already finished eating. Not sure if I will be returning."

"We stopped at The Wilder before a late dinner, so we just had cocktails. The bar was busy, but the service was pretty quick and very friendly. The cocktail menu was very unique, offering lots of fun options. We tried a few and found them all very tasty."
