from Google"We highly recommend this for a fun lunch on a wonderful waterside deck overlooking the Portsmouth Tugs! Our cocktails were great and the food delish!! We ordered the renowned, award winning seafood chowder, salmon bites, heirloom tomato and grilled cheese sandwich, and fish and chips; followed by key lime cheesecake - nothing disappointed!! But the best part was our amazing server, Michelle! So fun and attentive! We met the manager Devon, to sing our praises, and it’s no wonder everyone seems happy working here!"
"Food was DE-licious! Quaint little coastal restaurant with a plethora of a menu. Drinks were made moderately strong (not complaining). Conveniently located directly across from a park lot (pay by Kiosk). Fortunately it was a misty cold day, so a wait for a table was non-existent. "On Bow Street, there are several little seafood restaurants. Today we really wanted lobster bisque, so we picked the Water View Grill; it is a little more upscale than some of the surrounding restaurants. We were not disappointed- the bisque was delicious. Our meals were also quite good, every component cooked perfectly. The sauce on the lobster ravioli was especially good. We were not offered a bread basket, but the large portions made up for that. Server was friendly and attentive and kept our glasses full. Checking out was quick and .. well, not really painless at those prices but worth the cost to us. We had a pleasant lunch and will return soon."
"Visited on a busy Saturday and was happy with the food, service, and atmosphere. I went for the haddock fish and chips, which was good. My partner had a salad with grilled shrimp, which was very tasty. Nice bar menu available. I had a local brew on draft, and shrimp had a glass of wine chosen from a full wine list."
"Great chowder, solid lobster roll, and a fun twist on street corn. Stopped in for lunch and tried the New England street corn, seafood chowder, and a hot buttered lobster roll. The street corn was a pleasant surprise—fresh, flavorful, and a fun twist on the classic. Definitely recommend it as a starter. The lobster roll was decent—hot and buttered, but a little light on the lobster meat (picture is decieving, its sitting on a lettuce leaf). Not bad, just not top-tier. A solid roll. The standout was the seafood chowder—thick, creamy, and packed with chunks of seafood in every bite. Easily one of the best chowders I’ve had this trip. Friendly service, nice setting overlooking the harbor, and worth a visit for the chowder alone."
