"This is a dive bar atmosphere with a more hipster/clique feel to it. They have cheap drinks and fried foods. It's dark inside and you can take your drinks outside and smoke on the picnic benches. I've come here for many years and I appreciate it as the only place in Asbury of it's kind."

"I was the Dorothy there for Halloween and won in the competition! Very nice place! Great food! Love the retro basement downstairs with the arcade games. The place was super crowded! The night manager who I never got his name did a great job running the place! I was bummed I wasn’t able to bring my witch broom inside but I see why! It was super packed! I almost lost my iPhone but the night manager who I let know was missing found it on the floor! Thank God! I will definitely return! My only complaint would be that it got hot with all the body heat. Should’ve kept some of the basement doors open for cool outside air flow. Happy Halloween!"

"I just had the best Cheeseburger that ever had at the Bond Street Bar and Grill that is tucked away and almost hidden on 208 Bond Street in Asbury Park, NJ. The It is a small bar and grill with a dark almost mystical ambiance on a small one-way street. The bar has a warm and welcoming personality featuring great food, good vibes, friendly staff all in an inviting space of a classic pub atmosphere. On nice days you can eat outside on a small patio or along Bond Street itself and even bring your dog. They have a water bowl strategically set up for “man’s (and woman’s) best friend” while enjoying your meal outside. My friends and family always rave about the Bond Street Bar and Grill. There's a big downstairs bar that is apparently the place to go on the Jersey Shore on weekends. They have a DJ, dance floor and a super fun atmosphere. Since I was a little boy, I always loved Asbury Park on the Jersey Shore. People call the Bond Street Bar and Grill a “dive bar,” once considered a derogatory term, but the term “dive bar” is now a coveted badge of honor especially in one of the most exciting places in Asbury Park on the Jersey Shore known for its music and art. The Bond Street Bar and Grill features an open eye logo and creative artwork painted on the side of the building. As a former New Jersey Commissioner of Health and former president and current executive board member of the New Jersey Public Health Association, I give the Bond Street Bar and Grill my highest recommendation for outstanding food and a fun place to visit and enjoy. "An enjoyable little hole in the wall within asbury park. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. Their burgers are some of my favorite in the area. Compared to a lot of the places just within blocks of bond st, it’s well worth stopping in here for a drink or two. I can say, over the years the bouncers and some of the bartenders have gotten very condescending and rude. I think there definitely needs to be some new training done within there but, overall I would still stop in for a pint when I’m in asbury."
