"This was my first time at Johnny Mack’s, and I had such a great experience! My date brought me here, and I was instantly drawn in by the beautiful bar and the cool goth-inspired theme. It’s got a unique, artsy vibe that really stands out. The bartenders were super friendly and welcoming, and the drinks were made perfectly strong, tasty, and served fast. One fun surprise was that they give you a coupon ticket for a free pizza, which is such a great touch! The line for the pizza was pretty long when we went, so we ended up playing some of the games they have instead, which just added to the fun. The artwork throughout the bar is awesome and really adds to the vibe. Overall, it was a great first visit, and I’m already looking forward to going back."

"Hello, I’m reaching out regarding an incident that occurred at your establishment on Monday night, January 26, 2025, where I was denied entry/service after presenting my valid New York State driver’s license. My ID is real, unexpired, and legally issued, yet it was dismissed without a proper verification process. When we asked what specifically was wrong with the ID, no explanation or reasoning was provided. At the time, we also asked that a police officer be called to verify the ID, which I was fully willing to do, but that request was declined. No manager was brought over, nor was any alternative verification offered. Additionally, when we asked for the bouncer’s name for documentation purposes, he refused to provide it, which further contributed to the lack of transparency and professionalism during the interaction. I understand staff have the right to refuse service if there is reasonable doubt, but refusing to explain the concern, declining managerial or law enforcement verification, and refusing identification made this situation feel mishandled. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed internally and would appreciate clarification on your ID verification and staff accountability policies so situations like this can be handled more appropriately in the future. "They denied my friend Sophia of a real identification. Absolutely unreal. I am really mad. BOND STREET is where its at. She has been 21 for NINE MONTHS. Absolutely unreal. Atrocious behavior by the bouncer. We asked for his name and he refused to oblige. Larger ginger man with a beard (beard was also ginger) was being absolutely disrespectful when asked when my friend was denied. I asked for a reasoning and his reasoning was that 3 people said that her identification was fake. Also if you believe an identification is fake you are not supposed to give it back. (might be racially motivated) not the point though. I am absolutely mindblown by the fact that my female friend cannot get into Johnny Macs even though she did not drink a single alcoholic beverage the entire night. She was being very respectful and did not cause any harm. I am flabbergasted at the way the bouncers and the employees at Johnny Macs handled this situation I do not plan on coming back. I hope the owner sees this. Thank you for your time"
