"When I come to this café in the morning, it feels like the whole day will go well. The staff always greet you with warm smiles :) Every coffee here is excellent, and today I tried the seasonal Praline coffee. Its gentle sweetness paired with a rich coffee bitterness was absolutely perfect! The bakery items are always amazing as well. On this Christmas Eve, I enjoyed a truly special breakfast with my husband."
"Been coming here for almost a year almost 5-4 times a week, even two times a day and on top of that I get four coffee almost every time I go not all me tho.Safe to say it’s more than an addiction it’s an obsession. "Quaint, friendly neighborhood cafe in the burbs. Tried it out after landing in EWR, fam lived nearby. But the Flat Whites were a miss. Done factory style. Not crafted with care nor the right texture and the beans were soso. In a couple of the cups the pour was short of milk so they just foam more and refill it to the top then immediately cover it. Ruins “the art of the pour”. May as well go to a Starbucks at that point. WYKYK. Would give this one a pass."
"I am a very frequent customer at Alonso’s! I’m in love with their house made syrups and coffee! I’ve been going for a while now and their pastries, matcha, and coffee are all consistently delicious. It’s the best spot to catch up with a friend or sit down to do some work! Their location is perfect, right in the heart of Garwood so it’s very easy to grab a coffee on my way to work. The owners are lovely along with all of the staff. Not to mention this café is dog friendly which makes the experience that much more incredible. 10/10 would recommend!"
