from Google"On this episode of chicken wars, we have Acme. Shoutout to Acme for stepping up, as both Sam's Club and ShopRite were closed on Easter. I respect it though, big up to Jesus. A whole Lemon Pepper flavored chicken ran $7.99, which is just below market price for a bird. It came highly recommended, which sort of surprised me as in my head it’s a lower end grocery store. Acme has soldiers though, respect. I got this bird and took it down to Sinatra Park, which is located right on the water in Hoboken. I always struggle to find a spot to eat these Tissis, as I’m really shy and insecure. The steps at Sinatra Park were pretty mellow, so I decided this was the perfect place. Plus the Empire State Building was in the background so that was tight. As I picked this bird up for the initial shot in the video, I could feel it falling apart in my hands. This is a telltale indicator of a good chicken. The breast was solid, just a tad dry from being ELITE. The leg and thigh however were 1st team all Tissi, super moist with a lemon pepper flavoring that you could taste. Skin was operating at a high level as well. Final score was 8.3 out of 10, which ranks it #4 out of 18 birds I’ve tried so far. GREAT value too at $7.99. Shoutout to Acme, keep slanging these high level birds!! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__"
"Store is nice, Staff is nice but except one cashier who is an old lady at the register who looked so mad before I even got to her register and she kept saying "unbelievable" "disgusting" looking at me and was being so rude that I had to say thank you and leave the store as fast as I could!!! I seriously was the most polite with her and started the convo with "hey, how are you?" getting nothing in response but trash talk in low volume from her. I feel like the manager who is a sweet lady knows about all of this but can't do anything about it!"
"Be very careful when your see offers in the store and don't pay until you check that everything is been charged correctly. Otherwise not only there might be no way to challenge anything but you might be treated very poorly for trying to do so. I was charged an amount different to the price label for a pack of 6 beers in the liquor store. I showed the price and the women came up with some excuse of smaller packs of 4 beers and some bizarre rant about alcohol taxes. I took a picture of the label and tried to show her that the label clearly showed the correct pack size, but the women treated me like I was trying to scam her, she even question if the picture was from the store and then she completely dismissed me repetidly with no will to listen anything at all until I lost my nerve. She could have handled me so easily if she had any kind customer service ability. She could at least had a look at the label and the volume in the label and simply say that there was a mistake. I'm very happy to be proven wrong but at least I think I deserved to be listened to. And even if she wouldn't be able to honor the price on the label, a simple sorry the label is wrong would have gone a long way. Instead I left the shop feeling completely embarrassed in front of my 3 years old daughter and my wife, after getting in a heated argument about trivial amount that escalated so quickly. I know that I probably hav some customer rights protections but who can get into these things for a few dollars. I can't say if this is part of the store policy or not but clearly some people should not be allowed to be in client facing positions and it reflects very poorly in the company. Never had such kind of incident in the other large supermarket nearby where they always have a great attitude and are always happy to correct any issues with prices. Edit: added the price showing that it's for 96 fluid ounces (6 cans of 16foz) and not for 64 fluid ounces like the employee repeated over and over without bothering to check the label. After more careful examination the offer seems to have expired in May 28, which explains why it wasn't registered in the POS, my visit was 5th of July. So the offer was on display expired for 38 days without anyone removing it. The most basic check by the employee could have pointed this out without neededing to get into an argument."
"Clean market, great vibe, have a lot of discounts and good choices. They just need to update their online inventory. I was looking for an Easy Off Degreaser and they stated that they had it online but the spot where the item should’ve been was empty. Great people there at the register too. Nice to speak with briefly."
"I had an amazing experience. The store is very clean and the staff are friendly. Tyquan was my cashier and very nice. When I had to return Belissa did a great job! Will go back!"
