What People Are Saying
from Google"We went to The Brass Rail in Hoboken and saw the sign outside saying Happy Hour from 3PM to 7PM. 🍻 When we sat outside, the staff set up the tables and we asked about Happy Hour. The waitress explained it was $4 beers and $5 wines sounded perfect! 🍷✨ But when the bill came, the prices were way higher than expected. 😕 When we asked again, we were suddenly told Happy Hour only applied inside at the bar, not outside at the tables. That made no sense, especially because she could have told us earlier when we specifically asked. 🤦♂️ In the end, they fixed the bill after we complained, which we appreciated 🙌, but this should be made clear from the start so guests don’t feel misled. ⚠️ Transparency goes a long way."
"Stopped by here for a late lunch/early dinner. They have a decent selection of beers on draft for happy hour and I tried a local beer from NJ. I had the chicken sandwich, which was okay but could’ve used a bit more basil mayo. My friend had the short rib sandwich, and enjoyed it but it could’ve used some additional toppings. Reasonably priced."
"I absolutely love this place. It's been my go-to for many occasions. My favorite is brunch with the girls once a month on Sunday. The food is delicious, affordable and the Rose Cava is always a winner for our table. It makes everything so festive. the staff is attentive and kind. I truly love this place!"
"The Brass Rail in Hoboken is an absolute gem! The garlic-rubbed skirt steak was phenomenal ! cooked to perfection, juicy, and a very generous portion. The kale was so fresh, and the mushrooms were bursting with flavor. The lobster roll? BUTTERY PERFECTION! The bread it was served on wasn’t your standard lobster roll bread it was even better, and honestly made the dish unforgettable. For drinks, the pornstar martini was a solid 10/10. Perfectly balanced and so delicious. And the highlight of the night was definitely the service. Chantele was incredible sweet, attentive, and gave spot-on recommendations. Truly some of the best service I’ve ever had in Hoboken! The only small thing I’d ask for is PLEASE start offering bottles or cans of soda. The fountain soda was flat, which was a bit disappointing compared to how amazing everything else was. Overall though, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!"
"Had the gnocchi with meatballs which was great, the hummus and olive tapenade (decent), and the cauliflower fried rice with chicken. At first the chicken came out chewy but they quickly brought back a fresh piece and it was well cooked and tasty. Service was very good."
