What People Are Saying
from Google"Rook’s mocha with oat milk and agave is hands-down the best coffee drink I’ve had. The espresso is bold but smooth, the chocolate is rich without being too sweet, and the oat milk adds the perfect creamy texture. The agave gives it just the right touch of natural sweetness without overpowering the flavors. It’s the kind of drink you crave again as soon as it’s gone. If you're into mochas or just want something new and delicious, this one’s a winner!"
"I'm not big on reviews, but on a Saturday my first visit with my partner left me no choice. Although the coffee was excellent..thanks to the blonde barista who made it, the experience was overshadowed by the manager’s behavior. While I was having a light conversation with other customers, the manager was noticeably rude and visibly annoyed, to the point where her body language suggested she wanted me out as soon as I received my drink.. For a cafe that clearly has talented staff, the unwelcoming atmosphere created by the small manager was disappointing. I hope this is addressed."
"A bare bones coffee place with good iced coffee. Been coming here regularly and recently switched from a large New Orleans with whole milk, to just a large straight black New Orleans (stomach issue). I ordered the drink and the cup was only filled partially, almost 2 inches from the top. When I asked the girl who made it why isn’t it filled to the top she said it’s because I didn’t ask for milk and that I would be getting extra coffee for free if they filled it to the same level that comes with milk. I said just charge me more and fill it up, and was told they don’t do that. Weird. I didn’t push back as this is probably the policy of the owner. But honestly, this doesn’t sit well with me. How cheap can you be to not fill the cup to the top? It’s already $6 (not counting the gratuity I give)just charge me $7 and stop embarrassing yourself. Update to response: I appreciate the response and understand you want to achieve consistency. I’m still failing to understand how giving more coffee (while maintaining your coffee to water ratio) is an issue. If someone orders a large black coffee it should be filled to the top of the cup. Milk is an optional add on, and if selected, they get less coffee. That’s literally how every coffee shop operates. Her response was odd and made it seem like I was asking for extra coffee for free."
"Normally an offshore coffee store girl, but I’ve been trying Rook for the past few weeks and I have dealt with the same stuff everyyy time. I feel almost that the lady Paige seems to be annoyed by anything I ask and I get eye rolls. I’m sorry I didn’t write the menu! The coffee isn’t cheap to begin with so I feel I deserve at least one minute of your time. I’m used to the friendly interaction at Off shore. Absurd"
"It's coffee!! What's not to like🤗but it looks like no body is in there and takes forever to get a cup of coffee??? Doing online orders taking time off people present. Maybe can fix how they do this...serve the people who are actually there first"
