"This French-style café and bakery was a great spot to work remotely. I started with a single shot of espresso—it was rich and strong, far better than your typical chain coffee. The space has a charming vibe with plenty of seating, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I tried a pancake served with butter and fresh fruit, as well as a baked quiche with prosciutto and cheese (wish I had snapped a photo!). Beyond pastries and croissants, they also offer sandwiches, soups, and salads for lunch. The café had a steady flow of guests, with many choosing to sit and relax. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and I had no trouble working for a few hours. Overall, I loved the ambiance and food—would definitely return!"

"Great experience always! I love this cafe and all pastries and food they serve. I always order cakes here for all occasions so I had no doubts with ordering a wedding cake and pastries for my son’s wedding. But the result exceeded all my expectations! The cake was outstanding and all guests absolutely loved it! Anne made small pastries to serve for the cocktail hour and they saved the day! "I’ve been a loyal customer since moving to JC a few years ago. While the staff isn’t always the warmest, the food has consistently been excellent, which keeps me coming back. However, today I bought two eclairs, and when I opened the box later, both were placed upside down [icing completely stuck to the bottom]. That didn’t feel like an accident; it felt oddly intentional, and I honestly have no idea why. This won’t stop me from returning, because the baked goods are truly great, but I’ll definitely be double-checking my boxes before leaving the store from now on."
