from Google"Lava Java is one of the best coffee shops I visited in a long time. The exterior has the beach vibe and perfect colors and looks cute. There are lot of seating options available outside and lot of customers enjoying the sunshine on a November day, a delight to watch. As you enter, you see this beautiful decor and a well-maintained cafe. The first section has some tables and then as you enter the main cafe area. The staff friendly welcomes and assist you with your order. The staff has that vibe which makes you feel come back to the cafe every day of your stay. We ordered coffee and croissant. The crossaint was delicious and melted in the mouth. Highly recommended place while you visit the Ortley or Seaside beaches."
"This was an excellent place to come for breakfast and a really good coffee! They have a tremendous amount of flavors to add to the coffees and we had the avocado toast, egg platter and a pork roll sandwich and all were excellent with a lot of food! The dogs also had fun saying hi to everybody who came to pet them on the patio?"

"Update- on our second visit our lattes and egg sandwich were wonderful, and our server Judy could not be nicer, such a pleasure Every coffee option under the sun. We tried the Lava Java (mocha) and sea salt caramel. While delicious, a bit too sweet for our tastes, but next time we’ll go a little more traditional to really taste the coffee. A very cute place with friendly service given how busy they are."
