What People Are Saying
from Google"I have been here twice. The breakfast food is good but there isn’t anything special about it. The coffee I had was absolutely amazing! I had a seasonal coffee. The wait time for your items is INSANE! So you can go to the place and order in person or you can order online. Because it’s a small local shop I think the weekends can be incredibly hectic. The vibe is so adorable and classic. When it isn’t crawling with people I’m sure it would be a pleasent spot to sit and eat. We did eat there once and there was a conversation happening so loud at a table diagonal to us that we practically were apart of it. Even the table beside us looked uncomfortable. I can imagine this place is great to visit during the week on a cool fall morning. Good luck with your visit. I will say this… the coffee is worth the visit! Oh and the prices are pretty steep so be prepared to pay."
"I’ve been going to Driftaway Café for many years since Fall of 2019, and it’s always been a good, dependable place. When I first went in 2019 when they still had the tiny indoor seating, and I enjoyed it. When March 2020 came, everything shifted to their outdoor window and porch area. They enlarged the indoor space and kitchen, so outdoor seating was the new plan for customers, and adjusted to it. It has the wrap-around porch and plenty of seating. I do miss the picnic table that was on the grass and hope they bring something like that back, because I loved sitting in the sunshine. I usually stopped by while running errands and often took my order to go, but it’s also a nice spot if you want to meet a friend. The only downside is when cars sit idling near the porch—it makes me leave. I wish there could be a kind sign reminding people to turn off their vehicles so everyone can enjoy their food and coffee. Their food is the most reason I go as it's cooked from scratch, delicious items, the coffee is locally roasted which is excellent, and it’s been one of few favorite when in that area."
"Always love coming to this place, I come every saturday, until yesterday when my husband went to pickup our order, as he was grabbing the drinks put into a carrier he dropped them right infront of the pickup window. He apologized, even though it was an accident. The front counter girl was so nice about it and was willing to remake our drinks, the owner made her charge us half off the original price for remaking our drinks, of course I paid for them AGAIN! The owner never showed their face to us just told to them charge us again if we still wanted our drinks. I'm sorry but for that customer service they definitely lost a loyal customer. Here we are a day later and their still adding charging money to my card as if I didn't spend enough there yesterday."
"the vibes are immaculate here! great breakfast sandwiches and hashbrowns. I got the maple cinnamon oat milk latte and it was delicious! Staff was super friendly and rain or shine this place is super peaceful"
"Love this place! Such a super cute vibe. Live the outdoor seating area. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious & lunch sandwiches are delicious. Love their menu as well. Small tip for those who plan on visiting... order ahead on your phone. The wait is much shorter if you do so! Very convenient that Napoleon's is only a few short steps away to get some delicious cream puffs while you wait."
