"Coffee after a dentist visit didn’t seem like the best idea, so I went with the special of the day: a blueberry foam iced matcha latte with oat milk. The baristas were friendly, and the space has a clean, elegant vibe—definitely the kind of place I could see myself bringing a laptop to get some work done. The blueberry foam adds a sweet twist that complements the matcha nicely. It’s definitely on the sweeter side, so it’s a great pick if you like your matcha lattes with a bit of sweetness."

"Nice addition to downtown Maywood. Relatively new and improved remodel and owner of the prior coffee shop. Lots of 2 seat tables + seating at the window counter. Sparkling clean lines. Kinda reminds me somewhat of a Starbucks but without the laptop crowd. And here, if you're dining inside, you can request a glass cup as compared to Starbucks, where it's paper/plastic only. Comfortable atmosphere. Service is friendly and good. Coffee is just the way I like it, as are the lattes. Limited selection of baked goods, most made in-house, but what they have is very tasty. The Banana loaf and the Bread Pudding cupcakes especially delish. They also offer a small selection of sandwiches plus a different in-house made soup, on several weekdays. I've now tried all of the soups, and they're all quite good. A couple of small tables outside in good weather. I've been here numerous times now and always satisfied. Service pets allowed. Clean M/F rest room. Municipal lot & a rear (unmarked) entrance to the cafe if no spots are available in the street front."
