What People Are Saying

"The most delicious seafood boil! The sauce is super addicting. Would highly recommend the Cap’t Loui sauce and if you like spice, they actually make it spicy. The seafood is also really fresh and you can tell the quality on first bite. They recently added scallops (my favorite seafood) so I will definitely be coming back for that! Also get a side of sausage in the bag and a side of the garlic noodles. You won’t be disappointed!"

"As you can see in the photos, everything looks nice, clean, and well-presented at first. But looks are very misleading. We clearly told the waiter multiple times that we do not eat pork — for medical (allergy) and religious reasons. Despite this, the food was served with pork sausage, discovered after eating. One person got seriously sick and had to be taken to the hospital. This is dangerous negligence, not a simple mistake. If you have allergies or religious restrictions, do not eat here. Nice photos, high prices, zero safety and responsibility. Not recommended."

"I have come here a few times and I always have an amazing experience! The seafood boil is so flavorful and I always can’t wait to come back. Service is always great ( shoutout to Kat! ) as well and I will always come here when I’m craving a boil!"

"Was here a few weeks ago and the food was delicious. Service was good as well. Came here on a weekday so it was nice to not feel rushed. Will come back here again. Ordered the oysters and their seafood boil and the dessert."

"Yes. The seafood boil was great! Perfectly seasoned, great spice levels. Awesome. !!! HOWEVER!!! THE PRICES THOUGH!! holy Christ yall have no idea how bad this place is SCAMMING YALL. After I’ve went here, I went to Crab Island Cajun in Clifton NJ. Ordered nearly the same thing I ordered here at Capt Loui. And it was ALMOST A THIRD of what I paid, and just as good!! I mean truthfully. I HAVE SCREENSHOTS HERE. Read the descriptions from the combos of each restaurant, and compare. Nearly identical, but capt loui prices is not just “alittle” expensive, it’s an absolutely obsurd joke. I feel like I got robbed because “yes seafood is expensive” but come on.. not THAT outrageously expensive with no good reason. No good sea food boil is worth the 115$, when I can get it for 50$ AND with more selections at Crab Island Cajun! Yes, it’s tasty. But If you want to make sure your money goes to something that you were REASONABLY charged for, please don’t go here. There’s other places that charge your FAIRLY."
