What People Are Saying
from Google"This family-owned restaurant and bakery has always been my go-to spot. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making every visit feel like home. The food is always delicious, and the menu has something for everyone. Even my seven year old found plenty to love. We came in as a party of five and shared empanadas to start, followed by a mix of amazing entrées. I had the bone-in pork chop which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Everyone left happy, and the coffee was the perfect finish."
"Amazing food and service! Went there for brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday and from the moment we walked in the one of the owners greeted us. He was so nice and checked in on us a few times and gave us a small back story on how his wife and himself opened up the place. Everyone is my group loved their food. It was authentic and had lots of flavor. The tres leches latte was amazing if you have a sweet tooth like me. Our waitress was also kind. We sat in the back patio which was nice and cozy. Will def be returning."
"This place is a vibe. Chill vibes and amazing food. We had the tres golpes with the coquito expresso and the pumpkin spice horchata without expresso. The tres golpes was filling. This place is not cheap with the serving. I just wished it had more pickled onions. It did not disappoint. Will def be back!"
"I can't lie. I went into this restaurant thinking it was yet another gimmicky restaurant that is all "vibes" at an extremely high cost and mediocre food. But I was COMPLETELY wrong! The service was amazing (I believe she was the owner), the food was delicious, portion sizes were great for the price, and the final bill was not bad for 3 people. They have indoor and outdoor seating, they have a good variety of food on the menu, and best of all, it doesn't take forever to get your food. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. What a gem! Will definitely be coming back and recommending this place"
"TLDR: We were lucky enough to have our wedding ceremony and dinner at Libélula and it was everything we dreamed of. From decor, to service, to food, everything was stunning and perfect. A true Montclair gem and a must visit! For those who want the details: My husband and I were married in April 2025, and we knew we wanted a small, local wedding with great food. All roads led to Libélula. As Montclair locals, we’ve loved Libélula since the day it opened. The coffee, pastries, and food have always been exceptional. Veruska and Brian have thoughtfully crafted a menu that truly stands out from the rest. For our wedding, the Libélula team was incredibly accommodating and worked closely with us on every detail. From the menu and guest count to the overall layout of the space. Christine, Veruska, and Brian went above and beyond to make the venue absolutely beautiful. The dishes they served at dinner were stunning, delicious, and plentiful, we even had leftovers that fed us for the next week! Our guests couldn’t stop raving. We comfortably hosted 40 guests, holding our ceremony on the back patio before moving inside to the dining area for dinner. We brought our own table decorations, tablecloths, alcohol, and ceremony chairs, while Libélula provided the essentials such as napkins, utensils, glassware, and serveware. They were wonderfully flexible, allowing us to drop items off the day before and pick them up the day after (availability permitting). We feel so grateful to have found a venue so close to home that was not only accommodating but absolutely perfect in every way. Now, we love stopping by for coffee, pastries, or brunch, saying hello to the Libélula family, and reminiscing about our wedding day. A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone at Libélula for helping make one of the most special days of our lives truly unforgettable.
