What People Are Saying
from Google"We stopped by to visit the university. They were so kind and welcoming. The Kashmiri tea was delicious. Not to sweet, just perfect. They gave us a complimentary cake with it. That was so kind of them. The ambience is cozy as well. Will definitely be returning!"
"This was one of my favorite chais that I’ve had. It’s a nice aesthetic cafe spot to catch up with a friend. They also have a couple bite options if you want a smaller lunch. I thought that was ok, but the tea set that you can get here is one of my favorite tea sharing experiences I’ve had in the area. It’s a nice amount of spice and amount of sharing for two people. There’s also outlets so you can charge if you want to study here."
"A cozy little spot in New Brunswick with a wonderful ambiance and excellent service. We stopped by Khyber for a quick bite after dropping our son at Rutgers and ordered cheese sandwiches with tea—both were delicious, though the tea was definitely the highlight. The order took a bit of time, but Ali was very apologetic and kindly offered us complimentary cake rusk. Overall, a great experience, and we’re looking forward to trying their ‘Baingan’ sandwich next time."
"I drove 45 minutes just to try the chai at Khyber Coffee & Tea House, and it was absolutely worth it-the chai was rich and flavorful, the rusk perfectly crisp, and the ambience warm and inviting. Gibran and Sneha made the experience even better with their friendly, polite service at the counter, creating a vibe that felt both personal and welcoming. From the cozy atmosphere to the exceptional tea, every detail was thoughtfully curated, making this cafe not just a place to grab a drink, but a destination I’d happily return to."
"No, they're not big, but great doesn't have to be. Their pistachio cake and excellent coffee is just enough to make this place just right. Nice service, no one pushing you out the door, very chill. Thoroughly enjoyed it. If this is a hole in the wall, I will gladly look for others like it."
