from Google"Visited Hobby's today on a long layover between Brussels and Las Vegas. After a couple weeks in Europe, I was ready for free water in a cup bigger than a thimble, drip coffee and in a cup larger than an espresso cup, vegetables that come with meals, actual gluten-free options and not having to pay €0.50-1 as a customer to use the restroom. Luckily I found Hobby's Delicatessen via Find Me Gluten Free and was so glad to find that they do legitimate gluten-free options with a dedicated fryer and prep space to prevent cross contamination. I had the gluten-free pastrami wrap with fries for $23.95 and my husband had the #5 pastrami and corned beef with coleslaw and Russian dressing for $25.95. he also got the drip coffee with free refills for $3.25. Service was amazing. Owner's came out and chatted with us and preemptively made sure that I was aware that my food was safe for me to consume. Our waitress was incredibly personable and sweet. There were free pickles on the table. I'm not even a pickle person but I had three because again, I've been dying for vegetables after being in Europe. Great portions, safe celiac options, personable service, refillable drinks and no charge to use the toilets (although I didn't need to use them during this visit) This is what makes American restaurants great and Hobby's ticks all of those boxes. "Dined at this eatery twice. Service staff is friendly and prompt. Love their pastrami sandwich. Highly recommended. Also tried their other sandwiches- ham and cheese, beef brisket, roast beef corned beef. Well made sandwiches. Their homemade pickled cucumber and pickled tomatoes - must try. Highly recommended place to go for pastrami!"
"Great old school Jewish deli. I ordered the number 1, corned beef, pastrami and turkey triple decker with coleslaw and Russian dressing. The sandwich is large, too large to eat alone, it's for two people or two meals. The quality and of the meat was excellent as was the rye bread. The owner stopped at the table to check on us, he was very nice as was our waitress. Overall an excellent experience and I'll be back again."
"Food is delicious, atmosphere is great with that vibe from the 50,60,70’s . The two gentlemen came out of the kitchen to greet and offer their services ( Very dignified) I love that way of business. The waitress was doing her job, no more than that. This is the kind of place that everyone should visit at least once on their lives."
"I'm not usually in this area, but I stumbled upon this deli by accident. Turns out it was the best mistake ever! Seriously, their pastrami sandwich is incredible – hands down the best. The people there are really great, super friendly, and they make you feel right at home."
